Not happy that Microsoft made this all by necessary and priced it as such. Other then that it is nice. Literally plug and play, has its own slot.

Id give it a 5 if it costed slightly less or if it costed the same but with more storage. However, its plug&play convenience and speed makes the product worth it if you can afford to almost pay the cost of a Series S. I have both the Series X and PS5, and the convenience for performance is hard to argue against - especially when compared to the PS5s storage offerings.

Works seamlessly. My only issue with this item is that the massive file size of current-gen games basically forces you to get this, and the price tag is pretty steep considering how quickly youll fill up the space on it. That said, this is currently the only storage expansion for the Series X that allows you to play games right off of it. But Ive used Seagate expansion drives before, and theyre a fantastic brand, so Im glad to see their name on this.

A very good product, if a bit overpriced. Wait until these are available at a lower price.

If you have the Xbox Series S model and want more storage space for games in the future this is a must have. Some games are said to be between 20GB and 40GB depending on the content. Now Ive seen as small as 7GB for Xbox 360 games for games. Why I didnt give it 5 stars. The hard drive is so over priced for what it is and does. You can buy a Solid State Drive 1TB for $100 just about anywhere. Microsoft is purposely overcharging people by $100+. I wouldnt usually pay $200+ for a SSD unless it was for a 2TB or higher. But this expansion card is exclusive to the Xbox series x/s models you dont really have a choice. There have been no lagging issues. Super fast speeds from hard drive to expansion hard. Only time will tell how well it holds up.

Having an easy nvme expansion drive is awesome. Just needs to be more comparable to the 2tb drives available to PCs at a similar price point.

Honestly its amazing how small ssd are now days. The product itself is amazing, small and works great. However the new xbox and Ps5 shouldnt need specific over expensive drives for someone to play games.
