This works pretty well for that if you keep the USB plugged in and constantly charging. I cannot tell you about the unit for just motion capture, but having this unit connected to a tablet that is portable is pretty nice.

The product works as designed and after taking time to fiddle in the settings, Ive got it whittled down perfectly to suit my needs. Camera quality is good enough to identify the faces of people within their working range. The only thing getting a head scratch is charging so far. First camera I left charging for almost 5 hours on the suggested 5v=1A suggested charger with the included micro USB cable and the camera didnt get a full charge. Left the other one on a different charger of the same parameters and got an equal but not full charge in a 3 hour mark. Gonna fiddle around and see if I cant find a more efficient route.
