Sennheiser 1/4 Adapter - 549346 Authentic Genuine 6.35mm Adapter Jack - 3.5mm (1/8 Inch) to (1/4 Inch)

This adapter has extremely solid construction, the connections are perfect, and Im really happy with my purchase. It was totally worth the few extra bucks to guarantee good quality.

For decades Ive used cheaper 1/4 adapters from Planet Waves, Shure, and many no-name brands. They all suffered from poor contact crackling when the connection is bumped. I thought that was just how it had to be, but finally decided to try this more expensive adapter from Senheiser...lo and behold, the crackle that has plagued my IEMs for years is magically gone!

My schiit hel2 came with a 1/4 adapter for my headphones and it immediately gave me intermittent left and right audio when used with my sennheiser p38x.

Using these to connect 1/8in mics to a mixer. HAD to buy these after similar cheaper adaptors had loose connections that would buzz and make my recordings unusable.

Better than those eBay knockoffs. Worth every dollar.

What else is there to say. Its got the Sennheiser build quality you expect. Went through a lot of these until I finally stumbled upon this on Amazon here. (I checked Sennheisers website and couldnt find one sold directly by them) had it about four months now, which is almost four times as long as any of the other lasted. Surprising that these are so prone to wearing out.

The other reviews say it all honestly, its not magic, its not some special material, its just machined better than cheaper alternatives with tighter tolerances and fits your connectors more snug, resulting in a better connection and no nasty static or crackling caused by wiggle room.
