Sennheiser Genuine Adapter Cable Female 1/4 6.3mm to Male 1/8 3.5mm Plug for Headphones

So much better than other pieces that claim to do the same thing. Just get this one, you will not regret it and you already have the headphones, so dont try to save a few bucks here.

The cable is very pliable and the strain-relief at either end seem to be designed to put as little load on the 1/8 end as possible. Both the plug and jack are machined very well and there arent any rough edges on the exterior. Connections on either side have been solid with a range of amps and cans. Most importantly, the 1/8 plug doesnt pop out of my equipment at inopportune times like some of the cheaper adapters Ive had.

I used this adapter with my headphones to listen to my iPad and desktop computer. Nothing I did would be considered abnormal usage. Yet the tip broke after about four and a half months. I contacted Sennheiser about it. They took two weeks to get back to me and after we went through the issues, here is there response:

No issues... does as described.

Dead on arrival. Doesnt transmit signal at all. Wiggling it produces static but thats it.

So i bought this so i could plug my incompatible headphones into my phone right and it sounds good and all that but once i plug in my charger it creates this weird static noise that really hurts my ear. Right side only

Expensive, but well made with gold plated plug and jack.

Excellent adapter. After spending less on cheap adapters I finally decided to go with one made by Sennheiser. I do not regret spending the extra money. I’ve had to replace the less expensive ones so often spending a little extra on the Sennheiser adapter was well worth it. I’ve already owned this adapter longer then any of the other adapters I have purchased. It’s a quality cable.

Works great, very tight fit, excellent sound quality with no loss.

It does what its supposed to do.
