Sennheiser Genuine Adapter Cable Female 1/4 6.3mm to Male 1/8 3.5mm Plug for Headphones

Arrived on time and very useful

Bought this in an emergency after the tip of the 3.5mm adapter for my HD518s broke off. I must blame that on my own clumsiness, though that default adapter is HUGE and quite difficult to get out of the back of my PC. I ended up bending it twice and have to force it back into position with pliers. Definitely wont have the same problem now; this comes out and around the corner like butter.

Old adapter never fit quite right and would get static or sound dropping out. This one fits perfectly into the HD559s and into my laptop. Pricey, but works great.

Used these with the Audeze LCD2C and my computers line out (Maximus Hero VII motherboard) no crackling or any sort of odd noises. Expensive, but you’re not every going to need another sort.

I dont know about sounding any better but this adapter does at least feel of very high quality.

I used to own the Sennheiser HD-595 with this cable, but I sold them when I needed some money. I recently re-acquired them, but without the cable adapter so I could not use them with my Fiio E17. I then did some research and explored several options, but found the simple metal adapters to add to much weight to the whole setup.

Received mine today. Works perfect with my HD-700s. Im not sure what the issue is, saying this is not a Sennheiser product, IT IS. Guess they rip open bags and pay no attention to what they purchase, I do. See enclosed pics:
