> 3 dayThese are great headphones, especially if you want a drastically neutral sound. Theyre almost biased in how unbiased they are, if that makes sense. For the money though, if you want something that has a warmer sound, the hd599s are usually cheaper than these, and trust me when I say, youll probably get used to the color of those uggs. Alternatively, if you want something a bit more bassy, and significantly better soundstage, the fidelio x2hrs are a steal for nearly the same price. I personally wanted a lighter headphone, but prefer the sound of the x2hr. Sound is subjective, so unless you know what you actually want, just pick your poison.

> 3 dayIt is aIso a headphone, not a speaker. If you set your expectations too high, you will be disappointed. The review on the product was very good, so I bought it with high expectations. However, in my case, after using it for 20 minutes, my ears got tired and it was difficult to listen anymore. Its hard to think the sound is clear, and the bass isnt strong either.

> 3 dayI rarely write reviews for products but I would be doing a disservice for those contemplating buying these. The build quality is ok, nothing to write home about, the headphones are really tight on the jaws for the first 3 hours but get very comfortable after give or take 6 hours. Now about the sound, the sub-bass extension on these in my opinion is excellent gets really down low WHEN its needed, the mid-bass and upper bass might be lacking for bass heads but I found it quite suitable for my tastes. The midrange and the treble are also great had no problems with them, they are forward but not shouty or sibilant, quite smooth actually. The instrument separation and detail are very good which also compliments the phenomenal imaging and is better than average soundstage. Also, these headphones dont require much to drive them but you would not get the best volume with a laptop or phone source, an amp is reccomended.

> 3 dayIts a great all- rounder for the price. Doesnt have as good detail or imaging as the HD660s but is better tuned then the HD 6xx. Superior tuning lets it sound balanced, clear and more dynamic then the 6XXs, initially. Further critical listening with a decent amp allows the HD6XXs to show better definition and more depth without the treble grainyness of the 560s. SOUNDSTAGE is what the 560s ultimately provides that the HD5 and HD6 lines dont and along the great tuning and some dampening combination , initiating all the buzz over them.

> 3 dayThey sound tinny and unnatural. I bought it as a present for someone and they said it sounded terrible. I tried them and was negatively surprised by how weird they sound. They are made in China so maybe Sennheiser is losing their quality and is just trying to mass produce over hyped products. The sound signature of some of Sennheisers headphones may just not be for me. Sound is very subjective but these just sound weird, maybe I need a DAC or an amp to improve them or EQ them but out of the box they sound really bad. Maybe these headphones are too analytical for me which is why I find them hard to listen to for a long period of time. Build quality is ok but I am sick of Sennheisers all plastic builds because they feel so cheap. If you get the chance to try them in person definitely do so before purchasing.

> 3 dayListening to songs Ive heard live in small venues as a comparison, these headphones are all I could ever ask for. They stay true to the artist everywhere in the range; no independent sound signature is present.

Greater than one weekThe 560s provide a really good sound for the price. For open-back headphones, they have a surprising sub-bass frequency extension. Mids are snappy and highs are great, albeit maybe a bit boosted for some tastes. For this reason, they would be fantastic for gaming as that mid range footstep frequency sound is accentuated. For music, they definitely suit Hip-Hop and EDM. Of course, Metal, Rock, and Jazz all sound great as well. The headphones have good spatial imaging though not on the level of something like the Hifiman Sundaras. I`d say I prefer these over the HD600s. Though I haven`t compared to the HD660s.

> 3 dayThese are midrange audiophile headphones. Very comfortable with the felt like pads around the ears. Fits large heads (>7 1/2). Not for the effects and bass boosting that games use.
