22-11-2024I did this pair of cans with the suggested DAC/AMP the cheaper FiiO E10K ($80). While it powered it, it sounded weak or less-filled and anemic even in my opinion. The FiiO E10K sound Better with my 32 Ohms Samsung SR850 ($40). So Im returning this DAC/AMP now that Ive just connected these 560s Sennheisers to the FiiO K5 ($150). Its a shame that you have to go for more power to power these 120 Ohms, but having given it more power, I now see WHY the reviewers (some of them experts) of these phones are so impressed. Ive seen a 60+ year old pro praise these 560s ($200) with naming the Sundaras ($350) as being the only one better. I can see now that he had more power going into these to be able to say that no other phones are better except Sundaras, however the Sundaras are HIFIMANs and HIFIMANs generally have QC issues I see. So just to have slightly better phones would you go with HIFIMAN or Germanys (though made in Chinas) Sennheisers? This made me happy with my purchase of these, my first endeavor into studio reference phones (besides the Samsons Ive used for 2 years). I will put the Samsons through this K5 just to see the difference there too. The Samson while cheap, and not as accurate or not with the best imaging (so more cluttered in awareness), are still excellent for the price for music with their more protruding bass (compared to the 560s). The 560s are just CLEAN period, now that I got the K5 driving it. The treble no longer pierces my ears with the K5 as it did with the E10K. Its unbearable when underpowered, now its not so much like chalkboard being scratched.

> 3 dayThey have clear sound and decent comfort, though I had to tune them with an equalizer for a little bit to get them to my liking. The headphones material feels cheap when you hold them but its not a big issue as they ultimately get the job done. You can easily drive them even with a smartphone. It was an upgrade from Philips SHP9600 and overall Im quite happy!

> 3 dayShort and sweet: These headphones are wonderful for their sound design. I was so happy when I first tried them out that I was able to revisit old songs and have new life breathed into them. As of now, however, after less than two months one side of them have stopped working entirely. There was no show of damage and I was so gentle with these because of their light make I figured I could make these stretch two years. But the window for any returns or exchanges has closed so I am simply out of luck. Please get the warranty with your purchase or face the same unfortunate conclusion I have.

> 3 dayExcelentw audifono, lo utilizo con amp/dacs Fiio (k5pro a ganancia media, M11 a ganacia alta) pero quizas siento un mejor desempeño cuando utilizo mi viejo fiio e17 alpen porque puedo incrementar algo el bajo. Depende mucho del tipo de musica que quieras escuchar. Son bastante comodos. Lo unico que puedes odiar de este audifono es su cable de 3 metros (es demasiado largo). Comprar un cable corto es casi obligatorio.

> 3 dayVery comfortable but they are not meant for gaming. No directional sound, not loud, soft bass, and disappointing. My brother recommended these, saying this brand is the best. Even playing music, the sound was underwhelming. I think if you want the best, get a mix amp with it. But other than that, I don’t recommend it. Very expensive for what you get.

> 3 dayAmazing value for analytical listening. Bass has good extension, but is a little airy. As a former bass player, Im a little too particular about that tho. Easy to drive. Highly recommended

Greater than one weekIm a huge fan of the Sennheiser brand, I thoroughly enjoy the sound signature that Sennheiser deliver. The HD560s definitely dont disappoint in giving a full body sound stage experience - enjoyable bass, mids and highs.

> 3 dayThey are great for gaming and music creation but a little harsh on the treble for casual listening
