My daughters 2007 Camry needed these. I watched a YouTube video on how to install and was done in less than 10 minutes. Seem strong and like they will do the job. Hope they last a long time (should, but since I just installed them I dont know the longevity).

After 45 days not working anymore

This is a great product and seems very durable. No mounting instructions came with the product. I went to You Tube and found out how to take off old struts, otherwise I would never have gotten them off or the new ones mounted properly.

Does the job and really strong.

These were easy to install on the Camry. Just remember to add a little grease at the joints. But they work well. Maybe tight to close at first. No need to force it. It become easy after few open/closes.

These hood support rods (hood lift support struts) seem to be identical to the original parts in every way! My Toyota dealer didnt have them in stock (and wanted over $160 EACH, plus labor) so Amazon saved the day! They were very quick to replace, only needed a small screwdriver to release a clip. I didnt see any instructions in the box but a YouTube video helped show how to do the replacement. Just be sure not to install them upside down (look at your originals before you remove them) and when screwing on the ends pieces, take care that the bigger end goes on the bottom - when in doubt, compare to your originals. Now that Ive done this once, I think I could replace another set in 5-10 minutes. I wish every job was as easy as this!

So much more affordable than the dealer and they fit perfect and were really easy to install after watching a youtube video. The only thing is youll really need to use some oomph to close your hood after first installing. These things are solid!
