I saved $ over the brand-name set and was pleased. Fairly easy to figure out once shown by someone who understands how to replace them.

In less than 15 minutes, my husband had removed the old hood struts and installed these in. No problem! And so far, they work perfectly! Will see how they do for the next month of having to lift the hood for different mechanical things, but so far - not bad!
