These are NOT Lysol wipes! I’m frustrated with the reviews people comparing them. Yes, they do disinfect. Yes, they are comparable in size and count. Yes, they do the same thing Lysol wipes do. But NO they do not smell like Lysol wipes. These have a VERY distinct Lemongrass smell. If you’ve ever smelled Lemongrass, they smell just as they are titled. It is a bit off-putting when you are expecting the Lysol smell. But, if you know and expect Lemongrass, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a very essential oil type of smell. Do these work great? Yes! Are the comparable to Lysol wipes? Yes! Do they smell like Lysol wipes? No! They work just as convenient and great though. Happy with the purchase and getting used to the smell.

Say good-bye to stinky bleach and chemical smells and headaches! With this product, you still eliminate the same 99% of germs, but you will actually want to breathe in the air. A very pleasant smell! Unlike traditional Lys* and chlo* wipes, these ones will not dry out your hands nearly as much. We sent these to school so our child did not have to touch the unsafe chemical wipes. We also keep them in our car to wipe off the steering wheel, door handkes, cell phones, etc.

I love these wipes and will definitely be buying them again! They are pretty thick but at the same time very soft, kind of like baby wipes. I use them to wipe my babys high chair and sometimes even her hands after a messy meal. I love the fact that one wipe is actually enough to clean up quite a bit of surface area, and more importantly they dont leave that foamy stuff all over. They do have a strong thyme smell but it doesnt seem to bother me at all. I definitely feel good about not having toxic chemicals on the surfaces that my baby touches. Ive tried other natural wipes but I like these the most and I think I will stick with them. This reviewer received a free product for the purpose of writing a review. I cant complain about these. I use them sparingly because the reason I buy Seventh Generation is to be eco-friendly, while having a disposable cleaning rag feels pretty un-eco friendly. What I selectively use them for is cleaning narrow, disgusting places. Its best for the toilet, sink, shower head, drains, electric toothbrushes, and kitchen faucet. Sometimes there are areas where you just have to use your thumbnail - like the crease in your electric toothbrush or the rim around your drain - and you dont want to actually be touching the thing youre cleaning (and your hands feel suffocated in rubber gloves). The texture of these cloths gives you the barrier you need and helps remove the grit from these tricky spots. I use them around the hinges of the toilet seat, the place where the toilet is bolted to the ground, the joint in the faucet... things like that. I also like wiping chrome or stainless steel products with these but I have to go back over with a soft dry cloth like a designated cleaning sock to buff out streaks. Sometimes, Ill use these to wipe off my tile bathroom floor to collect any hair if Im in a pinch. My hands do feel dry after using these though, so if you dont mind gloves, best to put those on. These have a very pleasant smell, too. Im sensitive to chemical products, which make me feel light headed rather quickly. These dont have that effect on me. Im still waiting for a product designer to come along and improve the dispenser lid. Its SO tempting to reach in there with your finger and SO regrettable if you do. (Owch.) Also, the cleaning liquid pools at the bottom of the jar. I use that as cleaning fluid with a terry cloth rag once the wipes are gone. Finally, its important to make sure the lid is closed tightly when youre done using these. They can dry out. If they do, just close the lid and shake the container, as that pooled liquid in the bottom can redistribute to the cloths that way, unless youve left it open long enough that thats evaporated, too.

SO happy! We switch to a natural non-toxic multi-surface disinfectant about 10yrs ago with Melaleuca (Sol-u-gaurd). We got tired of having to fulfill our monthly quota. Plus, it seemed that I may have got a chemical bronchitis from it and took about 4-6m to get back to normal. That scared me a bit. This product smells MUCH more gentle and even smells very light compared to the Sol-u-guard, bleach and even Lysol...please dont use that stuff! I found this cleaner on EWG who tells you about how toxic the ingredients are for your body and the environment.

The ingredient in these wipes will kill MRSA, HIV, influenza. They are safe around food and kids. They don’t smell like perfume or chemicals. I used them on all handles, light switches, water faucets, the fridge and microwave during flu season for several years and it made a difference! This year, because we are remodeling, I haven’t used them much and I have already had a bad cold. I need to buy more! This is far and away the least expensive way to purchase these, and these are the larger size tubs.

I have always loved the Seventh Generation disinfecting spray. I usually use that spray with a cloth or spray directly on the surface and allow to dry. I tried for so long to avoid going back to using disinfecting wipes . . . I felt like it was more expensive and was just another extra product to clutter up the cabinets. However, now that we have a very active (and messy) toddler, Ive totally jumped back on the disinfecting wipe wagon! These are thick wipes with plenty of solution on them. One wipe is plenty to do a quick wipe of the bathroom counter (You have to remember to make sure the surface is wet with the solution and then let it air dry to disinfect). I keep a container of them in the kitchen, laundry room, and every bathroom! They make disinfecting and quick clean ups convenient and I appreciate the fact that the disinfecting agent is plant derived. They do have a distinctive smell, but it isnt unpleasant and when the surface is dry, the scent disappears!

This brand is pretty amazing but I really liked these disinfecting wipes. The smell can be kind of strong at first but I got used to it and I dont have the fear of wiping down anything for my cat and having to watch her to make sure she doesnt lick or smell the newly cleaned surface. She didnt feel either way about the smell which is great because I feared she was going to hate it but she doesnt feel the need to investigate the smell either like she would with normal chemical wipes.

Agree with other reviewers re: wet time and smell. As a physician and amateur chef, Im highly skeptical of anything that requires a 10-minute wet time to disinfect. Thats for the most part not practical, particularly when you often need multiple wipes to maintain that wetness. As appealing as it is to avoid harsh chemicals found in the competitions products, I used up this pack and will not purchase again. Im going with a hydrogen peroxide based wipe, which, while it may smell even worse than these, gets the job done in seconds to a few minutes. Hydrogen peroxide is actually naturally occurring and much more effective at disinfecting. Three stars only for this products efficacy in cleaning, not disinfecting.

If you are lucky enough to have the option to grab these wipes go for it!!! I’m not an “all natural” “holistic” type of person, but since it’s incredibly HARD to find my other name brand products, I bought these. And I’m satisfied. Yes these wipes have a distinctive smell. I’m not going to paint a pretty picture, some people hate the smell, some love the smell.... I (like others) tolerate the smell. It’s not like it will make you puke, it’s just different. With the way things are around the world, it is important to keep your house clean and disinfected, so these babies do the job. Also based on my calculation they are not price gouging!!! It is wrong/ridiculous/malicious how some vendors are selling essential products for 5x it’s worth. My experience with the delivery was awesome, They were packaged well and arrived To my front door in tact. Let’s stay safe and continue to pray/send -good vibes for health to all. Happy shopping!!
