> 24 hourI purchased on recommendation by a friend - and a defective previously used one arrived. I returned it easily and the new one is great! Leave it on the charger. Perfect for cleaning slider door tracks. The customer service is one big reason I give it a good review.

> 24 hourI know I know, no mother should ever get a vacuum for mothers day, however, after she had seen one at her moms house, she wanted one. She loves it, its kept in the pantry so its small enough to fit but hidden so that guests cant see. Saves so much time on picking up little messes instead of having to get the big vacuum clean out.

> 24 hourIf I could be in love with a hand vac, I would write sonnets to this Shark unit. Its so slim it sits in a corner of my kitchen counter at the ready. I use it about 2-3 times a day for a super quick zip around the cat box, as well as for all the pine needles which tend to find there way in to my place daily (I live under many many trees!) The release is super easy to open it up and dump the stored contents with one hand (I LOVE THIS). My old unit was larger and very difficult and messy to open and dump its contents. Havent needed to replace the filters yet, but I already bought a bunch and they also werent as expensive as my old ones. So even though this unit was more expensive than my old hand vac, its become worth every penny for its ease of use all around. Love that it also came with the extra tools. If youre on the fence for investing in this vac, go ahead and do it. Youll be very pleased with little guy!

> 24 hourThe Shark ION W1 is an uneccessary indulgence. Yes...there are cheaper options out there to clean counters, vehicle interiors, the spot under your messy-eaters dining chair, but the Shark W1 does it with STYLE. It is not designed to be your primary vacuum cleaner(unless you live in a closet) nor will it lift a brick with its suction power- Lego bricks, however are no match! It will be the vacuum you dont mind using everyday to pick up the little pieces of shredded cheese on your counters or the Cheerios that never make it to your kids(or adults) mouths. The Shark ION W1 comes with a modern base that acts as a charger for the lithium ion battery and a place to keep the two attachments. One is a wand-like tool that has a brush end(I use this for the cars) and the other is tool for cloth upholstery(I use this one for couches). The actual vacuum has a wide opening to handle all the daily pickup needs I listed above. Lots of versatility! As other reviewers have said it certainly is lightweight and not cumbersome like the old-school DustBusters. However, I did not find it to be loud at all like others have mentioned. In fact, its no louder than a hairdryer in my opinion. Also, I have used it daily for the past month and NEVER has the battery went dead on me, but Im not trying to do too much with it either. The suction power I find to be completely adequate considering what it is. Honestly, for the size I am truly impressed at the power! The collection bin certainly is smallish, but its so easy to empty you really cant complain. In fact, the disposal system is my second-favorite feature of this vacuum. My favorite being the overall sleekness factor. This is a vacuum you dont mind keeping out in the open because it looks so good! When you hide things you forget about them and having it in our living room reminds me to do a quick cleaning in some problem areas(mentioned in the beginning). At $110 as of writing I have taken 1 star off, but even that Im really unsure of considering all the positives. Jae

> 24 hourI hardly ever buy anything without doing research, these days. I did a lot of research on this purchase because the prices range from about $30 - $250 for the most popular brands of hand vacs. I have previously owned a hand vac that was a big let down, from a major name that everyone knows. At the time, I thought well, this manufacturer is well known for good products- should be safe to go with, but no. I was very disappointed with that unit- it had some major flaws for me, that I wanted to avoid this time. I want quality- Im willing to pay a little more for something that will serve me well. I also have to balance that with how much it will be used. I was willing to pay the $250 for the top of the line in this category (although I didnt want to pay that much), if it met certain criteria. Some of these criteria are not shared by everyone. I live in a smallish condo- I dont have tons of space for everything I could want and certainly not out on the counters. My previous hand vac needed to always be plugged in, if I wanted it charged and ready. Who wants to wait 2 hours after a mess happens to charge something up, or have to deal with cords and finding plugs nearby? The problem with this, is it was large and ugly. It looked like one of the sad, older robots on the Jawa land crawler- some of you know what Im talking about. It was an eye sore to look at, and took up a lot of counter space- so I wouldnt and sometimes couldnt leave it on the kitchen counter- I needed to store it somewhere, and it would invariably would not be charged when I needed it. Add to that, it just didnt work very well- it was awkward to hold, heavy and didnt have much suction- and on top of all that, didnt last very long. I had it about a year and then chucked it in the trash. Well I needed a new one, so I started to do my research. I watched all the youtube comparisons, read all the reviews, looked at what was online and in-stores. I compared prices, battery times, suction- style- every thing you could think of. The most expensive ones had some of the problems I mentioned above- you need a lot of space for these things, or you need a docking station that goes on a wall (I dont have a convenient place for that next to a plug)- otherwise the thing has to be stored...and I have bad memories of all that. It also turns out, the most expensive models dont really last all that much longer on battery than most of the others. What they do have, is great suction. So does this one, for its size- its one common thing that reviewers said about it, and they are right. I decided on this Shark, and Im quite pleased with it. It is stylish- modern, sleek, light. Its not an eye sore sitting on my counter and doesnt take up much space. Because of all that, its always charged and ready for little clean ups. I actually clean up all the small leaves that land on my outdoor patio with it, when it gets windy here (I stress that they are small leaves). It does a satisfyingly decent job of this. Its true I have to empty it several times when doing this- the cup is small- buts a one-click and drop easy, 2-second clean. The 10 minute charge is just enough to clean my whole patio of small leaves and tiny twigs. Its actually fun to use, like a Harry Potter magic wand- I look around the house hoping to find some small crumbs or something so I can zap it. Its long enough that I can suction up a cobweb dangling down from the ceiling on occasion. Im very pleased with my purchase- Shark has a winner, here.

> 24 hourI have a B+D handheld vac that I have had for quite a few years that has served me well, but I hate the cloth filter and the battery is going so it was time for a new handheld. That said, I am a proud owner of a Shark Duo Clean cordless vacuum that I bought years ago (when it came with 2 batteries!) and it is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. Enter the Shark Wandvac. I was skeptical at first after reading many reviews, but knowing how happy I have been with the Shark vacuum, I said what the heck. I was so excited when I used it for the first time, I had to write this review. The suction is amazing and the design just works. I cant comment on battery life yet, as Ive only used it on small jobs (not the car yet) but if its anything like my other Sharks vacuum batteries, I have no worries. The only complaint my husband has is that it is not mountable on a wall, but not a deal breaker for me. If I experience any issues, I will update this review.

> 24 hourIn a home with several vacuums already (including a Shark upright and a central vac), it seemed silly to pay $100+ for yet another one. After five months of use, though, I can say it was well worth the cost for this duplicate item. The WandVac is small and attractively designed, so it looks nice tucked in a kitchen corner. Its narrow nozzle makes it perfect for cleaning up quick spills like ground coffee, onion skins, or a stray dust bunny. Ive used it to clean out the inside of the refrigerator, lint from the laundry dryer screen (and in between the washer and dryer), crushed Cheez-Its in and around my childs car seat, cat fur on kitchen furniture (the upholstery attachment works well), and table crumbs. Each of these tasks would be annoyingly time-consuming if they required pulling out a full-size vacuum, but theyre taken care of in under 60 seconds with the WandVac. My only complaint is that the vacuum works so well, the filter becomes filled with dust very quickly. Having several rinsable/reusable filters included with the WandVac would have made it a perfect purchase.
