Sharpty Inverted, Windproof, Reverse Umbrella for Women with UV Protection, Upside Down with C-Shaped Handle

I had never seen one of these before until I ran into a friend with one at an event where it was pouring down rain. She demonstrated how handy it was so I ordered one the next day. I have used it a handful of times and absolutely love it ... it makes a big difference especially getting in and out of the car during a downpour. I have found it to be sturdy, easy to operate, and I love all the different designs you can choose from. What I dont like about it is the fact that it is so large I cant shove it under the seat when not in use; I dont love the handle, but havent tried using it the way it was advertised to be used ... by sliding it on your wrist, and there is a small plastic ring that came lose from the extension pole ... but it does not seem to be affecting the operation of the umbrella. Since I bought my own I have also purchased one as a birthday gift, and already have three more in my cart as Christmas gifts.

As a very fair-skinned individual with a sun allergy (oh yes, you read that right... allergic to the sun), I purchased this umbrella so that I could walk outdoors and socialize with the normal folk so as not to be locked inside like a sickly Victorian era child. While you do get some odd looks from those who do not understand the necessity of shade on a viciously sunny day, this has been quite the life saver. While I would usually get quite burnt under normal umbrellas (even after applying sunscreen religiously) I have had no issues getting burnt while using this umbrella. The umbrella is relatively sturdy and works great in the rain as well. The handle is both helpful but also awkward at times, though I cannot imagine any other handle design being less awkward. You will still have to dedicate one hand to umbrella holding so this is just the nature of the beast, unless you wish to purchase a super-cool umbrella hat... but not everyone can pull those off. Overall, very happy with the purchase and the price.

Nothing to dislike

It is very pretty! Its also sturdier than some other umbrellas that I have purchased in the past. Many umbrellas offer a one push button automatic open /close button....not this one. If you need that feature you wont get it here. Also the velcro strap to wrap the umbrella is flimsy. A sturdier velcro strap would have been better. I struggle with the velcro strap sometimes. The way the strap is positioned I have to wrap it around the largest part of the umbrella. I believe after a couple of seasons the velcro strap will lose its ability to adhere and keep the the umbrella closed. With all that said, it is worth the money to have a unique umbrella to prance around in the rainy days with.

I bought a reversible umbrella for myself and my sister liked what it offered so much she asked me to get it for her for Christmas. Benefits and Things of Note: - Love how many different options there are. I get bored with solid colors and if it is going to rain then my philosophy is that I should have as much excitement in the rain as I possibly can. The pictures on it are tasteful and add just a pop of color that add a bit of pizzazz. - Absolutely perfect for when you walk into a building. One of the best things about it is that all the water gets trapped inside the closed up umbrella. Meaning that when you walk into a building you arent dripping water and dont need one of the plastic covers they offer you at the entrance. - Getting out of and into a car is made a lot simpler and easier during heavy rain moments. All you need to do is barely have your car door open to close up or open this umbrella, which is a nice change from regular umbrellas where you have to basically have to have the car door wide open to close them up. - Handle has a little more to grab onto than other umbrellas, which is nice when you have other things in your hands. Definitely allows you to have more in your umbrella holding hand if you need to.

Just beautiful strong umbrella. Gave another one to my sons teacher and she loves it too. I even got a kid one for my son cause he brakes them all the time. So far he didnt for that one. I have yet to try it when it is raining and windy day. Like the handle/hook so you can have your hands free

Bought it earlier this Summer for sun protection during my walk. Provides good coverage and the dual layer seems to really protect my skin. I dont feel any sun sting. We get some good wind gusts and it has held up better than any other umbrellas. Knock on wood - it hasnt flipped.

So far we are liking this umbrella a lot. I love how it stands up on its own to dry
