I would say for a cleat they are fine. It is not like you get much of a choice in your cleats as you are stuck with who makes your pedal. I come from a the mountain biking world and use Times pedals. Those cleats are known to wear out quickly but what is quick in the mountain bike world is still a very long life in Road world. I have burned threw 2 sets of SM-SH11 cleats this year. Now to be fair I am being hard on the cleats as a lot of the rides I do are group rides in town with start and stops so there is a lot more of putting the foot down. I am getting around 4 months of use out of the cleats before I wear them down but I am not liking the fact that I am only getting 4 months of life out of them. I ride 3-4 days a week on an average of around 100 miles a week. One piece of advice I will give is try to have around at least 1 spare set of new cleats around as one of the worse things to have happen is ride on cleats well past their replacement point and not have a new set for a ride that night. It is even worse when said cleat completely fails on the ride. It is not safe when one can not really unclip and also sill struggle getting clipped in due to cleat wear. I have gotten to the point I will now buy a new set of cleats when I am at what I feel is 1/2 the life of the current cleats. Big time after the last set failed on me on a ride because the new set had not arrived yet.

More expensive than I normally pay but good quality and work fine

This was a replacement for a set that had been chewed up by walking on pavement. Per my abuse, I got about 18 months on the originals. {You can also get cleat covers that snap on these for walking - pavement, grass, mud...and now I carry them along as part of the gear.}

They fit my Fizik cycling shoes perfectly. The float on these are wonderful. They just work.
