Hold is too light for a clay

Very disappointed. Was my favorite but they changed the formula and its terrible now. I dont believe there is actual clay in the mixture. Ingredients are identical on tin but consistency is way way different. Does not finish matte, weak hold. Searching for a new product.

Not quite as easy to work with as i hoped.

I love Shiner Gold Clay. I ran out a while ago and it seems Amazon is the only place i can get it.

I found out about this stuff at a barbershop in San Diego called Mr. Brown’s, and it’s some of the best hair product I’ve used ever since and I highly recommend it!

Smells like coconut. Smooth on. No flakes at the end of the day. Easy-Medium hold. Leaves hair natural looking, not shiny. You can still feel it in the hair if you run fingers through, but its not crispy.

Love the smell, hold, and texture of this hair product. I used to buy it at my barber, but have since moved. My new barber carries a different line of products but I am a creature of habit. This product has delivered on every order.

Went to a new barbershop for a side pomp cut. The barber used this product to style. Shiner Gold Clay left an immediate impression. Application and styling is easy. The product smells good. Ive used the product at minimum 5 days a week since January and still have half the can left 2 months later. Highly recommend if you like a clean dry look with a solid hold, even on a windy day.

I have curly hair and I can spike my hair or wear it as a messy look. It does not look wet or oily and I have sensitive skin and didn’t breakout. I also have used a ton of products and this hands down works the best and is a fair price.
