18-11-2024Sheathing was solid and wire provides a high-quality feel to me. I have been working with wire for 10 years in a public works capacity, so I handled wire daily...

> 3 dayI got this cable to put sections in our backpacks for simple patch and test make up. Whenever were troubleshooting a wiring condition, its not practical to pull sections from the spools in the trailer, so keeping a smaller piece ready in precut lengths and nearly 50 cents a foot is a great value. The wire crips nicely and holds a very low resistance over 50 ft which makes it ideal for patch cable tests. sheathing is protective but easy to strip and crimp MC4s.

> 3 dayThis wire has very smooth high-voltage insulation and solid copper conductors. This is very good wire and worked well for my project.

> 3 dayThis sems like decent wire. Sturdy and easy to strip. I used these to make temporary extension cords from an inverter to some solar panels. It was WAYYYY cheaper to make my own than buy. This is quality wire and comes well packed.

Greater than one weekI have some other cable from Shirbly and the quality of the cable appear to be top notch. Nicely packaged, flexible, think insulation, and it looks so nice. The lettering on the cable is very clear and easy to read so it should be clearly readable for many years. I didnt want something cheap and so far Shirbly has provided some really nice cables. Not the most expensive either so definitely worth the price. I highly recommend their products.

> 3 dayI have a 16 aluminum Jon boat that I use in an electric only reservoir. I have 2 motors installed, one on the bow and the other on the stern. All batteries are in the rear-most area of the boat. 10AWG is too small of wire to support my 50A trolling motor, so I have that wired with 6AWG marine cable from another brand. What I do have wired with this red (and black) Shirbly 10AWG solar cable is LED lighting, navigation lights, fish finders (x2) and a stereo system. This is run from the batteries in the back to a fused distribution block at the front of the boat. Even though the insulation on this wire is quite adequate, I still ran it through a 1/2 PEX pipe for additional protection. The wire is very pliable to work with in warm temperatures and is still pretty flexible in the cold (38°). I reviewed the iGreely brand of 10awg marine cable and could immediately tell that the Shirbly has better insulation. I thought it was gonna be tougher to work with when bending in corners, but the wire insulation and copper is very supple. Im very happy with this Shirbly brand of cable and with the solar grade 10AWG wire from them. Ill be ordering different sizes from them in the future since the price is much more reasonable compared to other brands. I hope this information has been helpful to someone!
