Greater than one weekIm building a small portable solar rig to keep some batteries charged for camping and mobile ham radio. This is enough wire to chop up and get exactly the lengths I need instead of dealing with the slack from pre-cut jumpers. The insulation is pretty rigid (more than, say, a typical extension cord) so I think its best to use in a way that minimizes the amount of bending back and forth. I suspect it wouldnt withstand much of that before cracking. But it is flexible enough and came packaged in a nicely wound coil with no apparent dings or flaws.

> 3 dayThis wire is multistranded, tinned, and reasonably flexible considering it is 10AWG. It has what appears to be durable insulation. Compared to similar wire from other sources, the price seems reasonable, but it’s always good to comparison shop as the market offerings can change so quickly. I generally purchase name brand marine-rated wire, but for the project I am using this wire for, in an enclosed protected area, it is working just fine.

> 3 dayI have a 16 aluminum Jon boat that I use in an electric only reservoir. I have 2 motors installed, one on the bow and the other on the stern. All batteries are in the rear-most area of the boat. 10AWG is too small of wire to support my 50A trolling motor, so I have that wired with 6AWG marine cable from another brand. What I do have wired with this red (and black) Shirbly 10AWG solar cable is LED lighting, navigation lights, fish finders (x2) and a stereo system. This is run from the batteries in the back to a fused distribution block at the front of the boat. Even though the insulation on this wire is quite adequate, I still ran it through a 1/2 PEX pipe for additional protection. The wire is very pliable to work with in warm temperatures and is still pretty flexible in the cold (38°). I reviewed the iGreely brand of 10awg marine cable and could immediately tell that the Shirbly has better insulation. I thought it was gonna be tougher to work with when bending in corners, but the wire insulation and copper is very supple. Im very happy with this Shirbly brand of cable and with the solar grade 10AWG wire from them. Ill be ordering different sizes from them in the future since the price is much more reasonable compared to other brands. I hope this information has been helpful to someone!

> 3 dayThis sems like decent wire. Sturdy and easy to strip. I used these to make temporary extension cords from an inverter to some solar panels. It was WAYYYY cheaper to make my own than buy. This is quality wire and comes well packed.
