> 3 dayAfter one of my sons school backpacks died from being over burdened (as well as giving him a sore back from lack of support), I bought several backpacks to try out. Its truly insane how much stuff kids are carting around in high school. Both my sons say they dont have time to go to their locker between periods and so take EVERYTHING with them, including the school-issued Chromebook and several heavy, thick textbooks. This backpack holds a ton of stuff with a little room left over. I even contemplated buying one for myself for my work travel, except I have several backpacks that work well. I was so pleased with this bag that I bought a second one for my other sons. I would have given this bag 5-stars, however, I deducted one because the plastic handle has cracked under the load already. Not a huge deal, though. I had a Swiss Gear bag that cost loads more and its handle cracked the same way. One other negative and my other reason for deducting a star. There is no chest strap which can make a huge difference carrying a heavy load. I would never travel for work or pleasure without a chest strap and even hip straps, though that adds to the price. This is a great backpack for the money.

> 3 dayI bought this for my son. It is very sturdy. The way the kids have to pack everything in there at school it last about a year and a half.

> 3 dayI really like this backpack and have used it almost every day since I received it. My biggest complaint isnt about the capacity or the material or how it feels, but it is about the zipper pulls. These stupid things will literally slide through the eyes of the zipper part that is supposed to be pulled through its channel. That means you have to reorient the zipper pulls most of the times you want to open the pack. How does that make sense? The reason I am giving this item 4 stars instead of 3 is because it is really comfortable (even though I fill it to the max -- just had it at 30lbs with one 17in laptop, one 15in laptop, clothes, USB drives, pens, a bottle of Tabasco, a portable charger, and various bits and bobs -- the shoulder straps comfort doesnt matter at that rate). When the pack is in a smaller/lighter configuration it does work well for all of the things I need it to do. The straps are robust, the interior is spacious, and there are plenty of options for storing things. Things I would like: -A chest strap -A better padded interior (including the bottom of the bag) -BETTER ZIPPER PULLS, wth are these?? -Zippers from both sides for more of the segments (there is a large segment that only has 1 zipper from one direction)

> 3 dayMy only complaint is that the zip pulls for the main compartment are shaped like hooks, and get caught on everything else on the bag.

> 3 dayThe backpack in general isnt the best thing in the shed, however it easily beats the old backpacks that I used! The quality is great, and the cushions that lay in your back feels soft enough to not care for back pains! Depending on how much you carry, the weight wont matter, however I do have one problem. The holder on the backpack that you can carry with your hand is already cracking, and some areas it already is beginning to break.

Greater than one weekWe used my daughters old soccer bag as a personal traveling bag until it started to rip. I could not find anything with that much stretch room. This bag does the job and I love the separate space for my lap top.
