> 3 daythis works just as good as any other memory out there. tested fine. rejuvenates an older laptop along with an ssd and makes it usable again. only a few companies out there that make the chips on ram sticks. so name brand comes down to support we will see how that holds up over time if ever needed.

> 3 dayI used them to replace the old ones (not the original) which failed for some reason, causing the PC to freeze, reboot, or shut down randomly. I know it was the memory modules because I changed them with the originals (4GB X 2) and the PC worked fine. So far so good, lets see how long this set lasts. But to be clear, the set that failed was NOT Silicon Power.

> 3 dayI needed to upgrade the memory in my Dell Inspiron 15 laptop model 3558. This set of two 8GB sticks did the trick. They were delivered quickly and were well packaged in a small plastic tamper-proof sleeve. Installation was a little more involved than on other laptops that I have upgraded in the past. However, I found a YouTube video of my exact model with great instructions. This made installation relatively easy. Now, having gone from the stock 6GB RAM to 16GB RAM, my four year-old PC is noticeably faster, more responsive and able to support multiple applications easily. This was exactly what I needed. I think a RAM upgrade is the best performance upgrade for the money that you can perform on any laptop.

Greater than one weekI buy another pair when the sale discount is below twenty bux. Side-by-side, you can see they differ only in blue paint color and sticker printing with what Dell, Lenovo and h-p ship out in their laptops and mini-desktop computers.

18-11-2024Amazon packaging looked good. When I look out the Memory Package, the Plastic packaging was melted to the middle. Upon further inspection of the Memory sticks, multiple RAM Modules were broken and some cracked on both sticks. Both sticks are do not work.
