I’ve been stringing this MBP along for over 10 years, I found this smacking deal for $20 on 16GB (2x8) kit on Amazon. Not only did my MBP accept it but it’s actually reading it properly at 1600Mhz, I thought the supported max was 1333Mhz. I also fixed the trackpad by adjusting the sensor/sticker button and tightened the lid hinges. Fresh reinstall of 10.13.6 High Sierra. Guess I’ll just keep this in rotation for a few more years…

I bought these to speed up my hp notebook 17.6. The spec sheet said it was expandable to 16gb so I just went to it. Ive had no issues since putting them in, and it runs ALOT faster

Id never heard of these guys, but after looking them up their facilities seem to be in Taiwan -- a big plus over the usual cheapo-knockoff mainland Chinese junk of extremely questionable quality that Amazon is awash with these days. I bought a pair of sticks to upgrade an old laptop and they perform exactly to spec and have given an outdated and under-spec system a new lease on life. They were packaged new, sealed, trivially easy to install, and have given me no trouble.

These are made by a well-known, very well-known brand of chip manufacturers. I wont say the name here as I do not know if allowed to, so I will just say that the big G is your friend if you wish to know before buying.

I bought this for a Dell XPS One 27, almost 7 years old and still churning away. Ive upgraded to and SSD about 3 years ago and only recently upgraded the base 8GB RAM to 16GB. Once installed, you can clearly tell even the most normal tasks, if you have a few opened, can go above 8GB. So the 16GB was a welcomed upgrade. I dont have the necessary tools for in-depth OCD analysis vs other RAM etc. but they seem to be purring along nicely. This is office workstation use, non-gaming environment so theyre good to go.
