> 3 dayHave been using the Silverlites to replace failed CFLs in a large condo complex. So far, so good. No failures; used with and without ballast. It has only been 3 months, but they are looking good and the color matches the CFLs pretty closely.

> 3 dayWorks great, plug and play just as described. No need to remove existing ballast. Love the LED, good bright natural white office color, but my aged and yellowed bulb cover (due to the hot CFL bulb that discolored the cover) still mutes it down to a warm white color. Nevertheless, it is cheaper than going to HD and buying the old and annoying CFL bulbs that flicker and are slow to start up. Never going back to CFL bulbs again, LED is the way to go.

> 3 dayFinally, an LED retrofit that works for vertically-oriented GX23 sockets! I was tired of how long my CFLs took to turn on and warm up, but I couldnt rewire the fixture without cutting a hole in my ceiling. These LED bulbs are exactly what I needed. Just plug them in and flip the switch, and the bulbs light quickly at full brightness. Rewiring instructions are included, but the bulbs work fine with the old magnetic ballast. Most other GX23 retrofits work only for horizontal sockets, so I was thrilled to find this product. Reliability is the only open question; hopefully, the manufacturer used quality components inside.

> 3 daySo far, so good. I bought the lamp at a thrift store, not realizing how expensive Ott bulbs were, and knowing that the bulb in the lamp needed to be replaced. This bulb fits a lamp that takes the Ott 13 watt true light spiral with a square base - which has been discontinued by Ott. I can’t speak to how it compares to an Ott bulb, but I’m very happy with the brightness - a weird kind of really bright, while in no way glaring.
