> 3 dayNo fuss upgrade to my kitchen recessed lights. Pulled out the CFL and plugged in these LEDs. Theyre even brighter than the CFL they replaced. Just hope they last as long as LEDs are promised to last. UPDATE NOV. 11, 2019: Had my first bulb go out today, so not even 2 years of use.

> 3 dayTheyre plug and play as advertised. We got like 90% off a light fixture we purchased because we liked it, and lo its a GX 23 base because Im an idiot and didnt look before buying a $229 light fixture for $30. It also only takes short bulbs, of which major manufacturers make a grand total of zero of in the right configuration, and the manufacturer of course does not include bulbs. A few gray hairs later (still reckon we got a bargain gray hairs included) these arrive, snap in with a nice snug fit, and presto! These are working like a charm. They are ul listed, so that says a bit about the company already. Im glad I trusted an off brand for once. Dont let the picture fool you, theyre about two times as bright as they are with those shades on. (1/2 thick alabaster) they are rather directional as well. If youre using these in a similar volume lighting fixture, expect a moody bathroom, but in thinner shaded fixtures these will be fairly bright. The color temperature is pleasant, very neutral light. Not warm, definitely not cool. Just perfect.

Greater than one weekNo hassle replacement - just plug as CFL, no changes needed. Excellent light 360 degrees no shadow cone. I will buy it again and recommend others as well. Good value for the price.

> 3 dayThese went into a bathroom ceiling Fan/light combo fixture. Plenty of room, lighter than the old spiral flourescents they replaced with a whiter(?)/bluer(?) light. Instant on. Only had a few weeks and zero complaints or issues.

> 3 dayFinally, an LED retrofit that works for vertically-oriented GX23 sockets! I was tired of how long my CFLs took to turn on and warm up, but I couldnt rewire the fixture without cutting a hole in my ceiling. These LED bulbs are exactly what I needed. Just plug them in and flip the switch, and the bulbs light quickly at full brightness. Rewiring instructions are included, but the bulbs work fine with the old magnetic ballast. Most other GX23 retrofits work only for horizontal sockets, so I was thrilled to find this product. Reliability is the only open question; hopefully, the manufacturer used quality components inside.

> 3 dayLiked that these were plug and play . No more annoying blinky blinky when you turn on light switch . Great solution. No need to bypass the ballast. You also have the choice to buy different plug type and power/ brightness level. These worked great in recessed bathroom lighting and even a desk lamp. The socket in the desk lamp had some protruding tabs to accommodate a very slim base GX23 CFL.. This Silverlight base is bit wider, so I cut the tabs off at the lamp and now it fits secure and works . The desk lamp is 13 watts rated and these bulbs are 16 watt equivalent but only use 7 watts,

> 3 dayOne of them worked, the other flickers. I removed the ballast from the fixture, and wired direct. It worked for a few days, then no more. 50/50 shot. I should have bought higher quality..
