i ordered some of these to make christmas ornaments out of and the first box was great! I ended up deciding to make more and the second box I ordered had this funky blue film that just did not want to come off the metal bits. Would prob just spend more next time to get something better.

I bought these to use in framing cross stitch ornaments as Christmas presents. These were quite thr ordeal to use! Once separated, the inner and outer hoops did not want to go back together without the use of brute force. In turning the screw to tighten it, the nut on the other side spun instead of holding it in place. To get these together, it took someone holding the hoop, pliers to hold the nut in place and using a screwdriver to turn the screw. I guess that was the only good part- you can insert a screwdriver into the end of the screw, unlike most hoops. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to go buy better ones, otherwise I would have returned these.

These are packaged well - zip-tied together and come in a branded box. These are nice bamboo hoops with a sturdy screw mechanism. They are smooth and seldom have splinters coming off. Its a good value for the price. I buy these regularly for my hand embroidery projects.

I got bored during quarantine and decided to pick up embroidery. This size was perfect for small projects to give to friends! I’m definitely going to use this hoop + some stabilizer to do T-shirt pocket designs because it’s the perfect size! The only downside to it is that it’s super hard to twist the metal screw at the top to loosen & tighten the hoop. I had to use needle nose pliers to turn it!

I love these hoops but I think it’s a bit steep to increase the price from 10.99 to over 15.00 in barely 3 months time…. I bought them 3 times before but at this new price I’m not sure. It’s a good thing I checked as I may not be ordering anymore if the price keeps fluctuating so much.

We’ve ordered these a number of times for my wife’s crafting hobby. One shipment came with the annoying blue stickers on the clasps, while the others didn’t. Of 36 or so that we’ve used, only one has been misshaped, which is a pretty good success rate. This price generally beats what you can find in the big box craft stores, and around Christmas they’re usually sold out anyway. We always budget an extra day to what Amazon predicts for delivery of this product because it seems to take longer to ship than anticipated.
