SimpliSafe 105dB Auxiliary Siren - Compatible with Gen 3 Home Security System

The siren is pretty loud to begin with. I set it to high and can hear the thing on the second floor of my house with the door closed. My base station was set up in the basement as I wanted to hear the door chime in case my daughter got out while I was working. This meant we couldnt hear the door chime upstairs. This siren will chime with the doors and also beeps the count down when arming. No voice though but serves its purpose well.

Battery life is about a week. I changed the spot and now I have zero issues

Easy to install, just like all the other SimpliSafe products, and this thing is LOUD. Like…wake your neighbors down the way loud. Like…gain immediate attention from the neighborhood and make all the dogs howl loud. If you have a SimpliSafe system and you have more than one floor in your house, you should get this.

These are almost needed if you are in a single-family house. The inside alarm is great for apartments and close-quarters living, but if you have no shared walls, your alarm will be hard for anybody else to hear.

I love things that are so simple to set up. I have one siren outside on the far side of the house but one early morning the alarm went off and I didnt hear it. So I added one for inside the house and now Im at ease if alarm is triggered Ill hear it. Just set it and forget it!!! (Well until you need to change the batteries that is)

Motion sensor works better with subscription... go figure,

I wish that it had a vocal processor like the base unit.

SIMPLISAFE WARNS YOU THAT THIS IS VERY LOUD, AND IT IS. MUCH LOUDER THAN THE ALARM IN THE BASE STATION. AND, AS WITH ALL SIMPLISAFE PRODUCTS, IT IS FAST AND EASY TO INSTALL. BUT AFTER TESTING IT AND HEARING HOW LOUD IT IS, I HAVE TO WONDER, CAN I STILL HAVE BABIES?
