SimpliSafe 105dB Auxiliary Siren - Compatible with Gen 3 Home Security System

Very easy to set up in app and in a location you select. Alarm can be removed from holder to change batteries. And siren VERY LOUD. Great item!

My sister accidentally set off my alarm the other day. The base unit alarm definitely isn’t loud enough to scare someone away. It took me a minute to figure out what the beeping was. It didn’t even occur to me that it was an alarm. That occurrence prompted me to buy this auxiliary alarm. I tested it, and it is extremely loud. This will send the bad guys straight back out the door.

Beware that the SimpliSafe system is faulty and can stop working at anytime for no reason. The base station just stopped working, so I was NOT secure. This is horrible for something like this to happen with a security system - nothing secure about that. After hours and hours on the phone with the company they state that this happens once in a while. It is for this reason, I do not need an additional siren. I would NOT purchase any products from SimpliSafe.

Its so loud! Luckily we havent had to use it on a real threat, but even just testing it, man ots got some lungs. Neighbors on both sides as well as across the street have said they heard it ring. Like the rest of the system very easy to pair. Slight delay but still got the job donem i wish the base station would be as loud.

The auxiliary siren was easy to install and setup. I can’t hear the base unit with my home office door closed, so I installed the siren in my office. I setup the siren to chirp whenever an entry sensor is opened so I can hear whenever my kids go in and out of the house.

We like that it was easy to install. Seems to be working well We don’t like that when we talk through the cameras the sound is too low and garbled and useless! Also, we need to have the app on 2 phones so that my husband and I can both operate it. Example: I have the app, go out of town and husband says home. If he leaves home for a while he has no way to know if something has happened at home. Add the ability to share the account!

I wanted a loud siren and this is really painfully loud (which is good). I worked for years in the touring rock & roll music business. I know what loud is. A very good addition to my Simplisafe system. Highly recommended.
