> 3 dayUsed these end mills on a project I am working on, and they cut the aluminum and steel just like my other brand end mills do. so far, I love them and would not hesitate to buy more when different end mills are needed for future projects.

> 3 dayI finally got a chance to try out these endmills recently, and so far theyve been working great. Ive mostly used the 3/8, and its been perfect for my uses. I used it with some 1018 steel, 6061 aluminum, and O2 tool steel with my manual mill and it doesnt have any signs of wear yet. I hogged out some material on the piece of 1018, taking quite heavy cuts just to test the performance, and it worked well and cut like butter. I measured the grind of the flutes, and its only a few tenths small. I was able to hold a thou tolerance very easily. For the price of this set and the use Ive gotten from it so far even with only one of the endmills, Id say its 100% worth it. Ill update this review later on if I get a better scope of the durability or if any issues happen.

Greater than one weekThese end mills are a good value. They cut through steel without issue and left a good clean finished surface that needed little finishing to smooth out.

> 3 dayTested the 5/8” cutter in hot rolled steel, was able to do a full width cut at 2mm depth with a feed rate of 480mm/m on my CNC converted HF mini mill. Surface finish was excellent given the rigidity (or relative absence!) and I was very pleased with the speeds I was able to achieve - quite aggressive for me but felt I should put the cutter through much more than I ordinarily would for the purposes of this review. These cutters are definitely on my must buy list. Ran it dry and did four faces on two 1/2” x 3/4” x 4” pieces. Photos show finish from roughing operation and the blue chips it produced with no sign of cutter deterioration after removing a total of 1/4” over a length of 16”!

> 3 dayFor the price and the capability that these have, it would be hard to ever beat. I have put this into rotation on my FADAL for use primarily on mild steel, cutting out brackets for making other machinery. So far, they have done fantastic with cooling. Very impressed.

> 3 dayI must say these are a lot better than I anticipated. And I cut through some pretty hard material and they’re still sharp.

> 3 daySteel is difficult on a hobby CNC, but these end mills are a great set for getting started. With incremental diameters I was able to attempt multiple speeds and feeds for each mill and get a feel for what the machine is able to handle. After some experimentation I was able to get them milling well. In all I have a couple hours on these mills, so it’s hard to tell what the long term durability will be, but in the short term they are sharp, and versatile with no obvious signs of wear yet.
