> 3 dayI installed this into an Asus Z590-E gaming motherboards M.2 4x4 slot and it works great. I also have a WD and Samsung 3x4 also installed on this motherboard and this SK hynix is nearly twice as fast on some of the benchmarks. The SK Hynix monitoring software isnt as flashy as other competitors but it provides all the information I need to monitor the drives health. Overall its great drive for the price.

> 3 dayGreat boot drive for my Thinkpad P50 Laptop. Made a noticeable difference in my startup and loading time. Make sure you get a heat sink or a caddy with heat sink foam built in. It will keep your new drive cooler so that it does not start slowing itself down. I purchased this Platinum 1Tb because I was so pleased with the Gold Version 500Gb. Thanks and keep making a great product.

Greater than one weekBlazing fast drive. I added a thin copper heatsink since it is in a laptop. Easy to install [after I got the laptop opened]. I had ordered 2. Both registered and worked great!... except one would skip every few minutes while playing a few different games installed on it. The other had no issues with those same games. I returned the one with the game skipping.

Greater than one weekI love the storage capacity and the read speed of the NVMe SSD but for whatever reason I am unable to get anywhere close to the advertised write speed. It could very well be something wrong with my motherboard or OS config because my other SSDs seems to top out at around the same write speed as well. I tried enabling TRIM on windows 11 and that didnt seem to fix the problem

Greater than one weekBought it because I had a hard drive and it was very slow and I couldn’t play with my friends on my pc, this sad was a big upgrade and did exactly what I wanted. I can play games with my friends and everything loads so much faster.

> 3 dayIts hard to argue against Hynix, unless Samsung is having a crazy sale. Even then, you know enthusiast-grade Hynix products arent junk. But I wasnt expecting this to put my venerable 980 Pro to bed. On a lark, I bought two 2TB drives during Amazons Black Friday sale, and my only regret is not buying three. The read speed is neck and neck with the 980 Pro, but the write speed is nearly 2,000 MB/s faster. Thats jaw-dropping. You can see the results in the attached image. Thats on a secondary drive in an MSI Z690 Pro board with no heatsink at all. Not an enthusiast board. Not active cooling. Not even passive cooling (besides the Hynix sticker). Nothing crazy. And just over 7,100 read / 6,700 write is impressive at an enthusiast-grade price. Even a regular price. But at the bargain basement price these were going for? I almost feel like a thief!
