I bought the non noise canceling version for my dad since the price was good. Anyway, I liked them so much I bought a pair for myself but with noise cancelation. They really do sound as good as any that cost much more. I take them to the beach and listen to talk radio or my music. I would buy another pair if I needed another one.

Very comfortable headphones that pair very quickly with my iPhone. Good anc, clear audio. Not as much bass as my older crushers, but good headphones for the price.

These have stopped charging, contacted Amazon and since the return window has closed they suggested I contact Skull Candy. No contact info on the Amazon site for Skull Candy, kind of disappointed in Amazon on this one since these were sold by Amazon.

Firstly I did not purchase these at amazon due to price. when I went to the skull candy website using my phone they offered 25% off on my first purchase if I let them spam me. I gave them my spam only email and got a code. I purchased many headphones through amazon but ended up returning all. I will review with you why these are the best for me and maybe for you. Skull Candy Hesh ANC: Pros: ANC is amazing. Very close to the best & newest Bose. Light weight, excellent sound profile with Highs, mids and Lows. very comfortable! No creaking. Ambient mode available if you need to be aware of people speaking with you. Charges very quickly. Great value. Slender design. Works great for calling. Cons: No software except tile. No Case. Comes with bag only. Voice prompts sound like a disinterested british lady. One Bluetooth device connected at a time. Sony WHXB900N Pros: great sound with great bass. Has ambient mode. Touch controls are easy to use but get tripped easy. Nice software. Works great for calls. Cons:Heavy. Top of your head gets sore over a day. ANC is very mild. Doesnt block much. Keeps playing after you take them off. Too tight. They creak like a grandmothers rocking chair! OMG. after a few weeks if you start to talk they creak under the movement. Issue is in the hinge. Grab any and squeeze at the hinge and you will hear it. TaoTronics ANC SoundSurge TT-BH055 Pros: They have no highs to speak of. Bass heavy. A lot like cheap beats. They have great ANC though. Good for calls voice wise. Hard case! Cons: big big mamas. If you are on a video call they will look huge on your head. They grab tightly. Cheaply made. Ugly. no software. TaoTronics ANC SoundSurge TT-BH090 - Pros: overall great headphones for the $$. Great sound profile. Not super base heavy. Just right. Build is much better than the HB055. Hard case! Cons: ANC is subpar. Controls can be confusing. SHIVR 3D Immersive Audio Pros: Midlevel ANC. great sound profile all around. Cool blue light. Looks solid but break a lot. Multiple bluetooth pairing. Stylish. Look great! Comfortable but heavy . if you just want great sound only then these are the ones. Cons: creaky creaky creaky, sound positioning is a gimmick. Not worth the price. Ambient mode turns on the mics and turns off all sound. Poor controls.

The noise cancelling is good, but theres definitely a reason. The batteries dont last more than 2 days, even if I turn it off. If I fall asleep with just the noise cancelling on and nothing playing it runs out in a day. Cheaper chinese brand NC headphones have definitely last longer, though the noise cancelling is definitely inferior. Im not sure what to do at this point. Im not an audiophile and I dont want to have to go into the $200+ range to get better battery life to go with better NC. I need it to block tower fan noise in my workspace, and these Skullcandies do that well enough. But the main reason I bought these is I hoped for better battery life, which some of these reviews seemed to indicate I would get. I got tired of hearing the low battery alert so often with the old ones, and now I hear it even more with these. I cant even listen while charging even with the 3.5mm cable plugged in.

These are decent at 80 dollars. I wouldnt pay the full $140 though. The sound is decent, noise cancelation works well, my only issue is with the battery life. 22 hrs...maybe, but at 20 percent it warns us of low battery. This would only be a minor annoyance but it repeats itself every 5 or 10 minutes, making me want to shut them off. This is a stupid feature. I think 3 stars is fair.

I like these headphones overall and for the price point I’d say they’re solid. They look really cool, they have excellent battery life (seriously, I have had them for weeks and don’t remember charging them all that often) and have nice sound quality. The noise cancellation barely does anything and isn’t all that strong but it does dampen some sound helps me feel more immersed with what I’m listening to.

Generally speaking the headphones are awesome but I find that the battery life is short. Don’t last 22 hours as advertised.

This is my second pair of Skull Candy hesh, I have the Hesh 3 for working, and bought these for around the house/yardwork. Noise canceling works somewhat, but there are several things that go right through (vacuum cleaner literally has no noise canceling...) Sound quality is pretty good, but lacks some of the deep lows, but still better than many other headphones I have used, especially for the price point. Would probably buy again for price, but would go with the Crushers if I had the choice.
