Skylanders Trap Team: Torch Character Pack

Delivery was prompt and my son was one very happy gamer!

Activision is cashing in on my last, very last purchase. The two power up items, the piggy bank and the skeleton hand are pretty much remakes of the Sky Diamond from Swap Force which gives you extra money, and the skeleton hand is not much different from the millions of other magic items that damage enemies from previous adventure packs. Blades character is not very fun or innovative, he can spin in a sword tornado and jump and fling swords down. If you want a fun character get Hog Wild Fryno or Chopper. I have not played the Nightmare Express level yet, getting bored of the once fun Skylanders and especially since Trap team does not have player vs player battle mode, what a joke. If Activision want s us two fork out 25 bones for a pack that is locked up inside a game that we already purchased they better at least innovate and make them feel like you are getting something different than you already have.

My son loved this character. He has some fun upgrades in the Skylanders Trap Team video game. This is not a Trap Master, so it cannot unlock any of the extra gates to get at the hats... if you want to collect the hats. Personally, I feel the hats didnt add much to the game. In easy mode, you can play through the whole game with this character, and beat Kaos. My favorite character for Trap Team was Bushwhack. He was much more powerful. Although this character was a fun change, my son preferred to use Snapshot for most of the game. I know some kids collect these as toys and not for the video game. Shroomboom was solidly constructed and worked fine with the game or a little bit of rough play. The Infinity characters (different video game) did not hold up as well during rough play.
