We got this in anticipation of moving our very curious and mischievous 2 year old out of her crib into a big kid bed, and knowing shed be poking around her room as she got adjusted. Its great and really hard to pull out of the wall for a little kid (so far) and meets our purposes there. As others have noted, you cant arrange it so the wire goes up because of the 3 prong nature of the plug, so the wire has to go down and then up again if you are putting something high up like a baby monitor (like we were). A warning - the adhesive so far is really strong. Dont stick it until you are certain thats where you want it to go because it did peel off our paint when I stuck it down and then tried to move it within seconds of putting it down to straighten it. It really stuck on there immediately. Super good feature for kid proofing purposes just make sure you go slow and steady as you stick it on, and maybe something to be mindful of for those who may rent and dont want to go through the re-painting issue for security deposit purposes.

Declutters the space as well as making it safer for kids and pets. Super happy with this purchase.

Excellent idea!!! I just renovated my sons room, painted, etc. and found this item on Amazon. Figured Id give it a shot, since there are 4 outlets in my sons room. This definitely serves the purpose of protecting the outlet from tampering, but keeps my son from tugging on the wires. More renovations to come in my house, so you have a customer for each room as I complete them.

This was super easy to install and it made me feel better about my toddler playing in the area around it. She doesn’t bother it at all or even notice it’s there. I used a command hook to hang the plug section high on the way, which made it easy for me to access

Wish the receptical/outlet end of the cord were smaller and the plastic cord covers have a weird end tab that needs to be trimmed for them to be flush against each other. But overall a great product

My kid can take the plate off the outlet, and hes 8 months old... not very baby proof in my opinion

Such a great Idea to get from behind a dresser or put a lamp in a corner that can not reach an outlet.

This is exactly what I wanted in my home but there are numerous flaws and ways it could be improved. For one it is too expensive! I don’t see how an extension plug so short could be so expensive. It also doesn’t allow you to use the other outlet, to allow this it would just mean a simple cutout, yet it’s not available. I begrudgingly purchased this plug, because I knew it would fit the need while triggering shoppers guilt.
