I bought this based on reader reviews and have since purchased several more as gifts. My 4 year old and 8 year old granddaughters loved it so much that their mom ordered one for them to play at home. The story of its creator is enchanting, the cards are well made and colorful, and the many characters are fun. The aspects of the game teach simple math equations, counting, strategy, and learning what is clockwise. My original purchase was not he 10th Anniversary Tin Card game version and Ive learned that it has several additional queen cards in it so its been expanded and improved--especially since they added a Book Queen! Highly recommended mostly for girls although a little brother who watched his sisters playing would probably want to play, too, once he became old enough to follow the game. My 4-year old granddaughter needed help but she began to quickly catch on. Love it!
