So far, so good. Keeps my toddler out of the closet. The lock doesnt seem incredibly strong, so I imagine if she tried aggressively enough, it would fail. Added note: I have had this lock on the sliding closet door for almost a year, and it is still going strong! My daughter has never gotten the door open when it is locked. I never thought it would be strong enough for my sliding patio door, but I decided to try one there, too. I am amazed at how sturdy it feels. Not a substitute for supervision, but I dont think shell be able to get that door open either! I changed my 4 stars to 5, because this little lock has exceeded my expectations!

We have a pocket door between our kitchen and my office area. My son loves to open the door and go into the office area with all sorts of dangerous items. I installed the first one incorrectly (my fault entirely) and it was on the door for maybe 2 minutes and it was very difficult to remove so the adhesion is top notch! I got them installed correctly and now we can safely keep the baby out of danger!

I’ve tried similar child locks of the same style that work better. When you try to open the door without opening the lock, the lock flexes and feels like it will peel off. The locking mechanism isn’t as good as others I’ve tried, you have to be careful about making sure it’s clicked into the locked position.

We have a special needs child who sleepwalks and sometimes does whatever he wants. We went on vacation to a resort that has a pool directly outside our back patio. I put these guys on the sliding glass door and I don’t have to worry about anything. I e also used these on a cruise we took a few years ago for the same reason to keep the kids in when they were younger. I must have for kids!

Bought this to keep my child from getting into our lizards tank because the doors slide open on the front. He figured out how to use it in a matter of days. It works great, but if your child is smart.... its not childproof haha.

I was amazed.. The product is small enough so it will not interfere with the door and also strong enough to hold the door.. Even i am using a single one for each door..

These are popping off easy and Not sure why, Weve bought them before, Cant remember if it was from this same company or not and they held up good! For some reason these keeping popping off easily if my kids try to open the door.

My two year old popped this thing off without a problem. We wanted to use it for our sliding closet doors and it only stuck on for about 4 days. Back to square one with this toddler!
