Slugfest Games The Red Dragon Inn 3 Strategy Boxed Board Game Ages 13 & Up (SFG009)

I love Red Dragon Inn, and I got this game because I wanted to be able to accomodate up to 12 players (instead of 4 for the original and 8 with RDI 2). However, we soon discovered that 12 players makes the game fall apart fast-- you spend ages waiting for it to be your turn, the game takes forever and in general everyone loses interest. I wouldnt play this again with more than 8 people. Also, the new characters had bizarre and complex mechanics that added additional confusion to an already hectic game. I played one of the new characters and she felt really underpowered compared to Fiona, for example. I will continue to play and love Red Dragon Inn, but I think this expansion is staying on the shelf.

Red Dragon Inn 3 is a great game that adds some new elements to the older Red Dragon Inns. Each of the new characters have an extra quality to them that makes them stand out, be it a pet wolf, a stack of unusual potions, an assortment of gizmos and gadgets, or a rating of personal piety that fluctuates throughout the game based on your actions. Some new drink events add some extra fun, such as the good old Wandering Monster attack! This can be a fun stand alone game, but works better when added to RDI 1 and 2, and each of the editions allows 4 people to play. With all three you could have huge games of up to 12 people!

I love Red Dragon Inn and have made it my mission to own all of the expansions! Were well on our way and this expansion is so fun! I love the extra optional gameplay it has!

This is a fun game. it is a bit different from other cards games being a bit unique. It is better with the other sets

Harder to use than the original RDI, but once you master the characters, they are a lot more fun to work with! Makes for a very entertaining evening with friends!

I initially passed over this versions for RDI4, but the unique decks make the game essential.

Great game, tons of fun to play, party game that can be enjoyed by many, have people talk in their character voices for fun!

Another great improvement on the well made drinking game of bartime brawls. Each of these characters brings an extra tool to the night to help them be it their loyal wolf companion, unknown mechanical contraptions, or even having a god on your side.
