Used in conjunction with a 24VAC relay to turn lights on when garage door opens. Works well. I have purchased my third magnetic switch for indicator light on garage doors (3 doors) this 3rd on I used 120vac through switch to 120vac relay with a 0.3 amp draw. Been on for 4 months and still working well.

Works great if you do better than me and wire it correctly the first time. Thanks to whoever put the following out there: When the door is closed, there is continuity between Black/Green When the door is open, there is continuity between Black/Red

Installed and works perfectly. Mounting bracket for the magnet leaves lots of options. I moved the magnet on all three and trimmed the bracket on two. East to make work for my doors. I installed them on the top of the door with the contact on the overhead door opening.

It works on my garage door. Now I can tell when it is open. Good Product.

Worked great for our duckins (ducks and chickens) coop alert. Wired this in to a solar light such that the light is on at night when door is opened so we can see from the house if the coop door is still open before bed. Well made product and would be good for any outdoor reed switch application.
