I wish I had found this years ago. This works perfectly on the top edge of my garage door

Has three wires black is Colin plus one for normally open and one for normally closed . Even without instructions . Hook up black plus one other and see if it signals it closed with the door closed .

Its a magnetic switch and it works. What more can I say about it. I am very pleased with it.

Was actually a NC contactor for an old school buzzer using 12v. Many others come NO without the three wires.

It worked except below 0 is a problem. When its cold swing a stronger magnet across it. That wakes it up.

I purchased this to replace a cheap unit on a NexxGarage controller. The magnetic range and quality of this unit is great. It can be configured as NO or NC.

Solid piece of work.. was easy to use to set up mu open garage door alarm/ light.

Installed and works perfectly. Mounting bracket for the magnet leaves lots of options. I moved the magnet on all three and trimmed the bracket on two. East to make work for my doors. I installed them on the top of the door with the contact on the overhead door opening.

Worked as described.
