> 3 dayI bought these to convert a few lamps into my Hue smart system, since Hue doesnt sell any bulbs higher than 1600 lumens, and the official Hue smart plug is expensive and not readily available. It was super simple to add to the Hue Bridge through the Hue app. You follow the exact same steps as the official Hue smart plug. After adding it to the Hue app, Amazon Alexa automatically found it and added it to the Alexa App, since I already enabled the Hue skill. The default name was not very useful, but easily changed. Pros: Price Easy to use Works with Philips Hue Cons: too bulky to fit two right next to each other in a single duplex outlet. the clicking noise when toggling on/off is slightly louder than an amazon smart plug.

> 3 dayIt just works. I have not had any reliably issues and I am using it to automatically control a 300 watt humidifier with no problems. After connecting the zigbee dongle to Home Assistant, I was able to pair the smart plug to it. I like zigbee smart plugs because there is no cloud nonsense and it interoperable with my local automation.

> 3 dayEasily connected to my SmartThings Hub. Operational in minutes. I really like having smart devices that are compatible with my Samsung SmartThings Hub, because you have fewer WiFi devices on your network. These smart plugs are easy to manage and control. I would recommend them to anyone using a zigbee compatible smart device hub.

> 3 dayOf the two plugs I received in this package one worked flawlessly, immediately connected to my Hue hub, and never caused me any issues whatsoever. However the second plug still wont pair after multiple twenty minute sessions of attempting. Given how easily the first one paired, I can only assume this second one was defective out of the box. So be aware, this is a nice cheap alternative to some of the more expensive plugs out there... but the chances of receiving a defective unit seem high.

> 3 dayI paired these with my Nortek HUSBZB-1 USB stick using Home Assistant via the zha integration. Home assistant is able to turn lamps and other devices on and off reliably. The plug does function as a repeater, but its signal strength is not that great. I would recommend getting Securifi Peanut Smart Plug if you need one that is a good repeater.

> 3 dayI ordered two of these and both failed to complete the configuration step with my Vera controller. There is some incompatibility. I exchanged these DOGAIN versions for the ones from CMARS and those do work with Vera. Cosmetically they look exactly the same from both manufacturers, but heads up on the incompatibility issue if you are a Vera user.

> 3 dayTried to pair with smart things , called Samsung for support as they could not be found on either their scan or their generic options.they told me they are not supported devices. The only Reason I bought them was for smart things support,.and there was even a smart things logo on the box... I think someone is using the logo without certification. They are going to be returned tomorrow **Update. I was able to pair one of them using ge zigbee smart outlet. The other seems to be defective

> 3 dayFirst this isnt the smallest depending on how you measure it. The rectangular ones use more width and might fit better. These are round so the protrude down (or up) and bit more. This shouldnt be an issue but if you have it on a power strip it will be a snug fit for sure. I havent tested them as repeaters but I would imagine it work fine. For the price I could see people putting them on as dummies just to extend your network.

> 3 dayI bought these to replace an expensive GE smart plug that I bought 3 years ago and already died. It took me a while to find one that worked with SmartThings, as most smart plugs available now do not work with a hub. Out of the box, the 1st one of the pair set up easily and flawlessly. The 2nd one gave me a challenge, as it didnt want the software to recognize it in the installation process. I walked away for a while, and it worked when I came back. Ive been running them for a couple months now, as part of automatic daily routines with lamps, and theyve been reliable. For the money, I figure if I only get a year out of them, Im still way ahead of the game, because theyre about 1/6 the price of the same GE unit that I purchased back in 2018.
