I was able to easily pair it to Alexa, but the SmartThings setup was a bit different as the manufacturer wasnt an available choice. I selected Generic Z-Wave Device and during the process Alexa paired, and it was added to my SmartThings dash. They seem to work just fine with either SmartThings or Alexa commands. Really good value for the money, and if I need some more smart outlets Ill definitely buy again.

I usually try to avoid zigbee devices and stick to z-wave because zigbee isnt as reliable but I needed additional controlled outlets in a hurry and I was able to get these next day and for a good price at $23. They paired up easily to my SmartThings v3 hub and for about the first 10 days, they would only respond to commands about half the time, but since then, they have been mostly reliable without any changes in location or equipment around my house. Ill most likely sell them and pick up some z-wave replacements now that Im done with them for this Christmas season.

Had no issues pairing with hubitat for either plug. Range is good.

These immediately paired with my Zigbee network run on a Conbee2 coordinator with Home Assistant. Responsive and solid. The odd thing you should know, especially for Home Assistant, is that these show up as lights instead of switches. Its fairly baffling they just didnt bother getting these on the right domain. That could result in some weirdness depending on how you expose various domains or relate them to areas/groups. Knowing about it you can hopefully work around it, but honestly theres too much competition to put up with that. I got another brands plug and it does show up as a switch in Home Assistant.

I am trying to get into making a smart house and I want to use Home Assistant to accomplish that. I have a zigbee compiant Sonoff USB 3.0 Dongle and the plug was instantly recognized as soon as I hit the button on the plug. I wish all my purchases were that easy to integrate. I will probably buy more of these when I am more confident in the automation. I would recommend these to a friend. Myst

it is not very reliable product: one of two is dead in less than 2 months use.

Have previously purchased the larger rectangular Zigbee outlets but needed a round one to fit into a single round socket that is recessed about an inch behind my bathroom vanity. Unfortunately I didnt notice that these are only rated to 10 amps, and the outlet is used for a 6 gallon water heater that draws 12 amps. Connected easily to my Aeotec hub. It worked initially, but the next day the smart plug was dead, and the casing had been slightly melted. So, my fault for not noticing amperage. I am docking a couple stars only because after looking at other buying options on Amazon I see that these are much more expensive than most, sometimes double the price, for what appear to be exactly the same plug. So shop around.
