Greater than one weekOne of the best toys Ive ever purchased! We keep playing with them and weve owned them two years. The four-year old likes it best, but the 12 year-old plays with it too. Perfect for taking to brunch and for playing with while the kids wait for their pancakes.

Greater than one weekJigsaw puzzles are great for kids, but what do you do when your child is ready to move on to something more that will challenge them once again? If you are reading this review, you know the answer. Castle Logix is probably the best puzzle/game that youve never heard of. So simple in concept and yet so thought provoking for your child. The 12 starter challenges use 3 of the 4 blocks, and all 3 of the towers. Your child stacks the blocks to match the picture in the book. 12 junior challenges add the 4th block into the mix. The 12 expert challenges involve balancing the blocks and towers in some way so that they dont fall rather than just stacking them. Finally, the 12 master challenges use the non-painted side of the blocks, forcing your older child to really tax their brain to match up the blocks. For my child, 3&1/2 was the perfect age to start with these. We start with the first challenge each time and build up to the stopping point every time we bring these out, adding a new challenge in the play-session if she is ready. Watching your kid work through and get closer and closer to the solution is just plain awesome. Even if/when they get stuck, you know they are actually exercising their brain because you can see the results as they manipulate the blocks. Castle Logix is durable, portable, enjoyable, doesnt take batteries and will actually help to teach your child how to think and use logic. You will be hard-pressed to find a better toy/gift for a kid in the 3-6 range.

> 3 dayThis is a really great game. My 4 year old will sit and do it by herself and is so proud of herself when she completes a challenge. Really makes them think- I love it!

> 3 dayThis was a gift for a 3yr old boy. I liked the whole concept that they were going with..making various levels of patterns, however I do wish they had more than 7 pieces. I was not able to open the box and see the levels of difficulties since it was a gift but how complex can it really get with just the 7 pieces. Otherwise a great gift for preschooler starting out...learning how to construct & follow patterning

> 3 dayThis game is a lot of fun and makes your toddler think. My 5 year old can go through most of the games without much problem but still enjoys it. My 3 year old finds it challenging.

> 3 dayDaughter loves making castles. Really a nice mind bender for a 3 year old. Shes up to 6. She likes figuring it out. She also likes picking the hardest ones and seeing if Mommy can do them.... none are that difficult. The back page shows how to get them done if you are ever in question . Great tool for spacial reasoning. Need those STEM toys? This fits the bill, a nice primer for organic chemistry.. without any kiddo knowing it. We work on having the colors and the sides line up. Now just need some enantiomers.

> 3 dayThis was recommended by our daughter. Their son had hours of fun with it and now we bought it for another grandson. We practiced with it after receiving it and since some of them took a bit of thought for us were sure he will find it a challenge. Promotes good planning, spatial, and thinking skills.

> 3 dayFantastic for the preschooler in your life! I have used this for 3 of my kids and when we lost a piece I was so sad that I went and bought another one! It is great for 2 and 3 year olds, but wasn’t challenging enough for my 4 year old. Quality is amazing and learning concept is wonderful.
