Please note that this issue could be specific to my unit. I have purchased many products on Amazon with reviews that warn about strong chemical stenches, yet I had no trouble smelling those products unless my nose was right above them. Stuff usually warned about such as mousepads and cable organizers. Those smells went away in a few hours. This product is on a whole other league of stank. For the sake of comparing foulness, think of those stinky mousepads I mentioned as a house and this carrying case as a skyscraper. It cant be stressed enough - this product reeks so horribly. Not only was the smell detectible to me from at least two meters. it was so strong from where I initially opened it that I feel that I could have fainted if I did not pull away from the thing. My main regret was leaving it open in an unventilated, unused room in the hope that it would become bearable in an hour. The smell did not go away. In fact, it stunk up the entire room. Even after a week of owning it, I can still detect it, but it is thankfully not as bad as before. If you plan on buying this, you should leave it open near an open window - the initial stench is no joke.

Just got a new DS and needed this. Very nice.

Fit my New 3DS (normal) extremely well. It has a tiny sleeve for it and you can remove it if you have the XL version so it seems to be able to work for both. It arrived fast and the case feels very durable.

My son really likes this case because it holds everything for his 3DS XL in one place. The hard shell keeps the device protected while on the go (my son can be rough with stuff too) and the game cartridge sleeves hold the games snug even after games have been taken out and put back in quite a number of times. I would purchase this item again if we needed another case for any reason.

Kids loved them for Christmas, great for anytime the DS leaves the house

The case is sturdy, the zippers seem strong and it can hold my 3DS XL, charger and multiple games. What more could I ask for?

This is a nice case, it holds my Nintendo 3ds, and some games, plus a charging cord. Case is sturdy and protects the game console.
