For the money this is a good case for your 3DS XL. It holds my 3DS, charger, and couple of games. The casing feels nice to the touch and the shell feels solid.I like the red accents on the zippers, tag and clip. Its very conservative looking compared to other cases that feature Mario on it. This may be a good or bad point for you, but I like that it doesnt display its contents from first glance. This case has great value.

I think Ive owned this for a few years now and despite having (accidentally) stepped on it a few times, its no worse for wear. Highly recommended.

Very versatile product, I just wish they made new3DSXL bags to put these cases in for better mobility. Like a backpack just for the newer line of the DS.

I tend to drop my stuff which is why I wanted to get a case for my 3ds. This case seemed like what I wanted and has worked great for me so far. And yes, I have dropped it, and nothing was damaged.
