First off I must state that Im not a climber. I intend to use these for my safety harness that I use for my deer stand. I tested these by hanging from my harness and they held my weight (225 lbs static) without an issue. They seem to be well made aluminum caribeener with a good fit and finsih. Its reassuring that they are EN and CE certified (see pic) for people that will use them in a serious capacity. They come well packaged and well documented by the manufacturer.

The only drawback that keeps these from perfection is the goop. It’s lubricated a little too much and instantly got my fingers messy. The colors are REALLY cool too. Feels like these could hold an elephant. I am very pleased with these and you will be too. Just pack some wet wipes.

I am not a mountain climber and I have no plans to use these for that purpose. A good carbineer can be used for a variety of other purposes - some for safety and some for anything you might want to shackle. Keep in mind that these are large, well-made, heavy duty carbineers. I keep mine in my car, for unforeseen circumstances in which this device would be useful. They are well made and have a good locking system. They can even be used to hold a fishing rod in or a kite in place. I have read the positive comments in other reviews, and I agree with them.

Im impressed with the quality of these carabineers. They are very strong. I ordered them to replace the cheap hooks that I was using to hang up my hammock, and these easily hold up to the job. The locking functionality is smooth and doesnt stick, and the hinge is strong. I would trust these to support my weight while climbing.

You never really want to cheap out with climbing equipment, right? Its been about a decade since Ive climbed and am considering getting back into it. These are light weight, lock well, seem comparable to other brand name climbing carabiners I have. However, one of them appears to have a dent on arrival (see photo). Will this affect the safety of the biner if you fall climbing? I dont know. Probably not, but? Maybe someone who knows a little more than me can answer that.

These are a good product. The price for two is very reasonable. At first I ordered these to add to some camping gear based on not knowing the quality. I figured for tarps, hammock etc. After receiving them, testing them and reviewing the specs I will be adding these to my climbing/rappel gear. I would recommend and purchase.

I dont know why Im so hard on carabiners, but for whatever reason I seem to damage or lose them so Im always on the lookout for decent quality (ANSI rated) ones. These look and feel like they are properly made, though I havent tried to break them like the YT channel HowNot2Highline (where they test and break every piece of gear.
