> 24 hourWe have a south-facing roof, so Im beginning to acquire the items I need to set up my own DIY solar setup. Im starting with running a cable into the house through a gland that I can hook my camping-style foldable 60w and 100w solar panels through to my solar power station inside the house, but the plan is to learn as I go and eventually put some 100w fixed panels on the roof. This wire is plenty long to allow me to position those panels wherever works best and still allow me to run the wire through the gland Im installing. It helps makes things less bewildering and allows for any positioning mistakes I might make.

> 24 hourUsing this to route solar from RV roof to charge controller by the batteries. Instead of getting two colors I am just going to use electrical tape to mark the ground on the ends and every few feet.

> 24 hourIve got two 100watt PV panels. I run them in parallel to my Bluetti solar generator that sits in my shed this 30ft extension cable allows me to move the panels throughout the day to get the best sun while still reaching the genny. These cables work as expected, they stay cool and are very thick. Even though they are 12AWG cables they stay pliable and routable. I was a little concerned after reading about Tinned Copper cables but I have had no issues with these cables. They have weathered a couple of moderate rain events without a single leak or short.

> 24 hourThis is basically just a 30’ roll of black and red (separated) Kibor cable, made in China. It matches the claimed 10 AWG gauge, which I appreciate. I’ve seen many deceptive listings by others. Not much else to say. I have other solar cable setups based on the same Kibor cable and they work great. Things I like: 1) It is what the listing says it is. Things that could be better: 1) As much as I like a free gift, a long piece of human hair stuck in the cable bundle isn’t much of a gift. Umm…yuck. See associated review photo.

> 24 hourI like this cable, it has all specifications I needed to use with my solar panel system. It uses tinned stranded copper wire which is less prone to corrosion. UV protected to prevent sunlight from Damaging the insulation (making it get brittle/crack) Being stranded it is very Flexible,, 10 gauge allows it handle plenty of current up to 30 Amps.. It has two layers of insulation and is rated at 1500v, so no worries of it shorting out when gets wet… Two colors red for positive and Black for negative.. I measured low resistance, and negligible voltage drop.

> 24 hourOverall length received was more like 57 feet. Also, it comes as two separate pieces for wire. Not a big deal, but it would have been good to know.
