This is a review of RAKDSYMC Solar Panel Wire - 60FT 10AWG (6mm²) Solar Extension Cable, Tinned Copper Wire. I received the advertised length (60 feet) and gauge (10AWG). Overall this is a good quality length of wire. The insulating jacket is double-layered. Its stiffer and a bit less flexible than similar wire I have used in the past. I plan to use this for a 12VDC project involving fixed wiring runs in a protected location and with fairly low current, so the insulation is fine for my application. This is advertised as fully tinned wire, but its definitely different from the typical Ancor-brand marine grade wire and cable I usually choose. Other than that, I think its a good product, at a reasonable price.

This is basically just a 30’ roll of black and red (separated) Kibor cable, made in China. It matches the claimed 10 AWG gauge, which I appreciate. I’ve seen many deceptive listings by others. Not much else to say. I have other solar cable setups based on the same Kibor cable and they work great. Things I like: 1) It is what the listing says it is. Things that could be better: 1) As much as I like a free gift, a long piece of human hair stuck in the cable bundle isn’t much of a gift. Umm…yuck. See associated review photo.

Ive got two 100watt PV panels. I run them in parallel to my Bluetti solar generator that sits in my shed this 30ft extension cable allows me to move the panels throughout the day to get the best sun while still reaching the genny. These cables work as expected, they stay cool and are very thick. Even though they are 12AWG cables they stay pliable and routable. I was a little concerned after reading about Tinned Copper cables but I have had no issues with these cables. They have weathered a couple of moderate rain events without a single leak or short.

Heavy insulation, very thin tinned strands for conductivity, difficult to strip as insulation sticks to wire. I used it for trailer wiring on 15K lb flatbed that requires high current for electric brakes. A bit pricy compared to other offerings out there but this is SOLID Copper and not the cheap Chinese copper clad aluminum (CCA) that you really dont want because you have to go to the next larger size to get same conductivity. Aluminum is ok for outside overhead industrial wiring but you do not want to use it in your house or your vehicle as temperature wise, it runs considerably warmer than copper.

I needed some wire to complete an array on my shed. This worked perfectly for my needs! The wire is well insulated, copper center (tinned so it does not look copper, but the wire is confirmed copper), and looks like it will do well when exposed to rain and sun. I tested for voltage drop when I received the cable and no problems found. Good price for high quality wire. Highly recommend!

This wire is well made and made my job of connecting solar panels a breeze. The wire is flexible and well insulated. It also carries the current with little to no loss (depending on length). You can’t go wrong purchasing this wire.

Using this to route solar from RV roof to charge controller by the batteries. Instead of getting two colors I am just going to use electrical tape to mark the ground on the ends and every few feet.

Very nice tinned pure copper wire and surprisingly flexible! Double layered insulation makes for a very satisfying installation resting assured that the wires wont be chafed easily at all! The best part of this wire is that it is tinned so if you are that crazy guy that likes to solder super thick wires like me then this wire is perfect for that! Also keeps the copper from becoming oxidized as easily. If youve ever tried to solder a non-tend thick copper wire a few times then you know what a nightmare it can be sometimes. This wire is definitely a step above regular grade wire and I cannot recommend it enough for high current and even high voltage applications. Despite the safety it is always best to use a fuse and or a breaker! I recommend running switches on the negative wire instead of the positive wire whenever possible; especially on grounded system setups. Must have and great value wire!

Good cables for diy projects, not just for solar. I had some high wattage electric scooter motors that I needed to drive and from the 24v batteries so I used this cabling which may have been just a little more gauge than I needed but it worked great. 10/10 will buy more once I run out.
