> 3 daySimilar PTZ cams at this price give you the smart features free; this cam requires extra subscription. Cam view is very clear day and night, but nightvision washes out the face of a subject that gets close up, like an overexposed photo. Thought the Vicohome phone app was awkward compared to Cloudedge app used by other cams. Good quality materials, good bracket for installing. Did not test solar panel.

> 3 dayIve used this security camera for more than 2 weeks. This is a great solar security camera with all the functions you might ask for. The initial installation is easy, much less hassle than the wired ones. The associated App is available for both Android and Apple users. The interface in the app is very straight forward and user friendly. You get your hands on within minutes. The solar panel generates and stores more than enough power during the day, so no need to worry about the power level during nights at all. The camera provides very clear video quality. You can check for live feed anytime via your phone. For the fact that this is a solar powered camera, it does not support 24/7 continuous recording. But whenever the camera detects a movement, it starts recording. You can adjust the recording time from 10 seconds to up to 20 seconds. When theres no movement, the camera goes into sleep mode to save power. Personally, motion detection already does the job, I am fine that the camera cant record 24/7. Overall, I am satisfied with this camera, highly recommended.

> 3 dayEasy install and set up. Wi-Fi is too weak in the spot we chose so I will be trying a wifi range extender… Update: the Wi-Fi extender did the trick for an extra $35. Camera works well.

Greater than one weekOverall mostly satisfied with this. The picture quality is good. I use it to see critters that come visit our bird feeder during the night. Raccoons, Skunks, Possum, Fox, Deer have all made an appearance. For that, I get a notification that motion was detected, pull the video from the server (not the camera) and download it if I like. The motion detection seems a little slow; rather, the thing maintains motion detection, senses something and *then* turns on the camera. The camera isnt actually on al the time. The video I get usually starts with the creature already in the middle of the picture. Some videos are nothing, as the creature ran through before the camera started up. Sometimes I want to watch the feed live, and that is where this falls down. Apparently using the wifi at the same time as the camera is active pulls most of the energy available from the battery. Try to turn the camera using on-screen controls and I can literally watch the data rate for the stream drop to nothing. Using the camera, streaming it over wifi, and trying to turn the camera is a recipe to at a minimum loose the connection; I think sometimes the voltage may drop enough it has to reboot. if I move the camera in little spurts the data feed stays active. The more often I move it, or if I hold down the button to rotate the camera 90 degrees I will loose data connection around 45 degrees of movement. The controls seem to keep working. Ill reconnect and the camera will be in some odd position from me hitting the controls to get a response. I use this is at night; during the day I put it in sleep mode and let the solar panel charge it. The solar has charged it to 100% from the ~50% it shipped with. Took about two weeks, but that is fine considering cloudy weather. This is spring, so not full summer sun, but not low winter sun either. Battery seems big enough for me to operate for several weeks if the weather got bad enough the solar charging didnt work. Had this almost a month, and just had to go out and turn it off and back on; just completely lost connection and it wouldnt reconnect.

Greater than one weekVery easy to setup with good instructions. Provides 10,15, and 20 second clips. This area I have proper lighting so I turned off night vision in order to get color video at night. If this area was total darkness then I could use the flashlight feature to activate when motion is detected. Highly recommend and looking to buy another for backyard.

Greater than one weekI use the camera for home security and couldnt be happier.l (started with just one to test it out and now I bought and operate six; swept it when it had a limited sale). Seriously the best camera. I tried one then bought five more to get all corners around my house plus Indoor mud room. Once installed no need to pay monthly fees and hence better than Ring. Ft. talk two way, ability to turn camera remitely, and solar panel were the main reasons to choose over others in terms of functionality. Most highly recommend, I feel safer.

> 3 dayThe Security Camera works perfect, the features in the app are very useful and the best thing of this is the Solar Energy. The Web Cam is on 24 / 7 and thanks to the Solar Panel it will always be online to the WiFi. It has useful features like the microphone, the sound alarm and the flish light. The Push Notification is excellent because every time the motion sensor got something it will inmediately send you the notification with an image.

> 3 dayI like the solar charger and panning ability. However, I am disappointed with the zooming abilities. Yes, I can zoom but I am unable to identify objects because photo or video too fuzzy. I bought camera for security but would be unable to identify person, license plate number or anything else. Have been in contact with support but they have not had any recommendation for improvement. Also, if a vehicle drives by I only catch it briefly as it passes out of view. Day vision and night vision just O.K. with full view. I do have to say the customer support has been great. They have been prompt to try to assist me. Unfortunately, the camera does not have the capabilities that I am looking for. I repeat that I love the panning and solar charging features. Just wish I could have relied on it for clearer images for security purposes.
