My dogs keep watch in my backyard but there are times when they are just excited. I can open my phone and check all over.

Great option for peace of mind, but definitely could be better picture quality. It does detect every single movement so if notifications are on you will get 100s a day.

I have 2 of these cameras (one is being shipped at time of this writing 1-30-2023) and Im happy with it except for one thing. The solar panel will not charge the battery to 100% in 8 hours. It will take two 8 hour full sunny days to charge the battery with very little use of the camera during that period. My battery was at 19% when the solar charging started. i still like this camera for the price. if the company will provide a larger solar panel to fix this problem, then I would give this camera 5 stars.

Easy to setup and use. The video quality is nice and clear (2k). The solar panel makes it worry free from running out of battery.

I wanted to install a camera in a location where there is no electrical outlet close by so I chose this camera. The camera comes with a solar panel to recharge the battery but it also has a mounting bracket that allows the camera to slide out where I can take it inside to charge. It takes quite a lot of time to fully charge the camera battery but the charge lasts for a long time. I decided it would be best to just take the camera down and recharge it every few months rather than install the solar panel as the camera is located on a place that gets little sunlight. The motion detection feature is nice. Every morning I check to see what nocturnal creatures visited the night before. This is my first pan-tilt camera so I have nothing to compare it with but can say the feature is very nice to have and allows one camera to cover a large area. I have had the camera up for a couple of weeks and with several frigid mornings but have had no problems. I would say this camera is a very good option for locations where electrical power is not availible.

I mounted the camera outside of my lake house since Im not there much of the time. I had the camera installed and up in running in less than 1 hour. The solar panel had plenty of cable so I could mount it in the best place to get the sun while the camera is located in the best spot to monitor the premises. I was concerned the battery would run low because of the lack of light this time of year (Dec) along with the cold weather in Maine. No issues, the battery is always fully charged. Its been a great experience.

Was really pleased on how easy setup was and able to move from within my house.

Purchase this item in December 2022. Its decent being that it claims to have motion detection in where it will notice the item an follow. Will the camera does not rotate as indicated you must move it around in order to see were you place it. Than if you zoom in its to pixels that best to not zoom. Just recently last month the camera stop function as it should. Started with not recording the motion it detect in the placement left. So there was hours of no recording. An there is no sleep schedule when not to detect. After this started to speak an say error withh the SD card when it was set up since December. An I check if its full nothing I check if it unformatted nothing I charge it nothing WiFi nothing still the same thing.

Update: Mounting was easy. I had someone do it and they had no problems. The unit does exactly what it says. Pictures are very crisp. I have had to contact customer support and they are very prompt. I am having 2 issues though: . There is supposed to be vehicle recognition, after 20 times but I cant seem to get that option. . Sometimes, when.i use the app to get a live feed, it says connecting and does not load. I have the solar panel attached and I think it has to do with cloud cover and poor sunlight on the day. But, Im impressed enough to order a second one for the backyard. Update: Have not mounted, but turned on to test video and features and set up the app. The instructions are very easy to follow and the prompts from the app are helpful. There is one part of the manual that doesnt hold true but its not a big deal. The units app interface is very easy to learn. (Taught it to my elderly mother in 10 minutes.) The panning works really well. The pictures are crisp. The night mode is also crisp. The microphone to speak to visitors is very loud. Hearing them is a bit low though. (Maybe I need to fix something.) The white light is so much brighter than I would have expected. The siren is a pretty decent volume as well. The ports are securely covered with very well fitted plastic covers. The unit seems durable. There is the option to purchase a plan to upgrade the features so that people, pets, vehicles and packages can be memorized. Havent decided on that as yet. Had to contact their customer service for a question and it was easy, and I got a helpful reply in good time. I bought microSD cards to use with it and am not yet sure how well that part will work. But am already considering buying more for other areas of the house. Next review will have the mounting and actual use.
