> 24 hourNot bad for the price, it a bit small for working on 1/14 rc cars. But I knew that going in. Still plenty of cups for small screens and parts. Good purchase for the price

> 24 hourIm building my own mechanical keyboard and new to soldering, so I needed a mat for a safe work surface. This mat is a good size and the slots in the top work well for organizing smaller tools, screws, and other small pieces of hardware. Its not really anti-skid and some of the kitchen pads I have do a better job in that regard. However, Im lowering my review rating for the following reason: I bought a supposedly-new product and received a mat that has obviously been used and borderline damaged. It looks as though someone took their iron and held it on the surface of the mat to test its heat resistence. Ill be returning and exchanging, so well see if I actually get a new, or at the very least undamaged mat! Update 4/14/2022: 2 years later, and someone *claiming* to be from the selling company is emailing me privately and offering a $30 Amazon giftcard to delete this review. No offer to replace the damaged product (which I wasnt able to, IIRC) or reply publicly to this review with the offer. Honestly, the mat is holding up fine but I use it for a project maybe once every 3-4 months. No idea if this would be worth anything with more extensive use, though.

> 24 hourThis is a must for all solderes. My work space is on a wood table and I would use a scrap cutting board to protect the table. The soldering iron would of course melt the board and burn the table if I didn’t pay attention. This mat now does the job of the poor melted cutting board. You can actually do your tining and soldering right on the mat. No chance of melting through. The scares above for screws and other items is the cherry on top

> 24 hourI cant say enough about how much I love this mat. The little molded compartments for components helped me reclaim a lot of bench space. Great heat resistance. I solder on this mat constantly and it never burns or bubbles. The color makes it easy to spot dropped components. It cleans up easily. Its just a great product.

> 24 hourJust wanted to share something that I didnt see in the description - the tiny little compartments are labelled with little bevelled numbers so you could jot down a list of where each screw goes. (1 - internal PCB JIS #0 bit, 2 - outer shell #0000 phillips, etc) which is so nice for larger or longer projects (wait, which screws were these again?). Mat is high quality and shipped in a resealable anti-static bag (keep it and use it for other stuff!). Im honestly super surprised at how affordable this is for what you get.

> 24 hourVery nice mat for soldering. Definitely heat resistant. Not just a thin piece of silicone. Large enough to work on most boards. Compartments are very shallow (1-2mm), which is good as I wanted something to seperate components yet not be getting in my way. No odor. Would definitely recommend.
