Excelent product ,i have one fan working with Alexa !!

Originally thought these were a good value, until today when I unplugged one outlet to move to a different location and since then, it will not power back on. It will flicker on and right back off when connected to a light and you literally hit the outlet box. This leads me to believe it has faulty wiring inside which could definitely be a fire hazard. Beware

I like this alot. Right now it is plugged into my Christmas tree. Nice to tell Alexa to turn on the tree. It occasionally does come disconnected and you have to connect plug again.

Works well as is, but once Tasmota is flashed to it, its functionality is increased ten-fold.

I have no issue with Sonoff. I have been more satisfied with Sonoff than with the Amazon Smart Pulgs that I own. First: this package delivery was on my porch instead of Amazon Key inside the safety of the garage when I was out of town. Second: Upon opening the Amazon package, I found the Sonoff box had been opened (see photograph) and apparently the Sonoff device had been compromised. I returned this Sonoff smart plug. 5 Stars for Sonoff, 0 for Amazon for the delivery and apparently used and compromised product.

I purchased this device because it was capable of running custom firmware like Tasmota and ESPHome (which do not require a cloud connection). The installation process was fairly easy. The gray side piece can pop off, and then two edge pieces slide out. After that just remove a few screws and it opens. I was a little disappointed that the serial connection points were not holes like some of the other Sonoff products I have used. However, I managed to apply the firmware without soldering by taping together a row of jumper wires and pressing them firmly against the contact points while the initial flash process ran. After that, I simply put it back together and its working perfectly with the custom firmware.

This hooks up to my Google home nest and Alexa. Simple to install and control. Im buying more.

I own several Sonoff products, switches and plugs. They are flawless. Ive never had a problem. They are simple to setup and easy to use. Alexa integration works really well too.

Smooth as glass, to set up and works flawlessly.
