Sonos Sub (Gen 3) - The Wireless Subwoofer for Deep Bass - Black

this is my second unit for my home, great sound and integrates with my sonos sound bar perfectly

At first I was skeptical to how much difference this would make to an already excellent sound system. It is an expensive option nearly $700 but once connected all I can say is awesome bass. It is not boomy and seems to convert the entire house to just the proper amount of bass. It integrated easily with the Sonos app which you download from the App Store. Set up was extremely easy. Almost plug and play.

Theres no way for this to work on some networks, and no alternative to connect physically. I have an Arc soundbar and this sits right next to it, but doesnt work. Even with setting up a separate network just for them, it doesnt work. Very disappointing

I had a pair of Sonos Fives, and they sounded great, but as soon as I paired this sub to them, it drew the stereo image towards the sub, and the bass sounded terrible. When you incorporate the Sonos Sub, it puts a high-pass crossover on the Fives, taking the bass away from them. They should have made that optional. The crossover point is also not adjustable. Its way too high for my liking.

I have the Sonos Arc, two Sonos Ones in the living room and a Beam in my bedroom so this is all I needed. Setup was mindless and the bass is deep but unobtrusive. Purchased during Black Friday sale. Great deal!

This sub manages to produce clear lows with zero rattle, with nothing sounding muffled, all while being super easy to set up and while looking like a piece of modern art. I have it paired with a Sonos Arc and two Sonos One SL surrounds and the sub basically takes the low sounds onto itself and gives a ton of extra clarity to the Arc and the surrounds. With my setup, it sounds as though I added not just a sub but another two speakers, or something like that. It’s expensive but if you are not on a tight budget, worth it.

The subwoofer is a must have for your sonos system..super easy setup

Didnt think the sub would add so much sound the the Sonos Arc. I was wrong especially after using trueplay it really sounded awesome!
