Greater than one weekUnlike the Sandisk CFexpress 128GB card purchased earlier, this Sony card actually works without any errors. I shot about 4,000 pictures with it, filling the card to capacity, and transferred the images to my computer without a hitch. Recommended, if expensive! Note that there is no performance difference when taking pictures as compared to the old SOny XQD card that I have, but transfers to my Windows 10 PC are much faster with an external card reader with the new card.

> 3 dayI had another brand CFexpress card for the R5. And that thing did not work well at all... in fact it stops working pretty quickly. So I did some research and try the Sony Tough. Well, it does it was advertised. Fast as hell and no problem at all. Wish these cards arent so expensive, but thats the going rate and it is what it is.

22-11-2024Assorbe tutti i dati che una Canon R5 riesce a produrre in RAW massimo formato. Spiacente ma mai provata per il video...

> 3 dayFlawless so far. I will watchout for heat. We havent rolled long video takes yet. Perfect match for my Z7ii. They are expensive and 1 TB would be my next purchase (for the right price).... hint hint.....

> 3 dayAfter recent firmware update, my Nikon D850 is now able to use this type B Cfexpress cards in addition to XQD cards. Both have same physical format but because of D850s age and hardware its not able to leverage the faster speed of the newer CFexpress cards. I did a quick test and it seems to be par or slightly faster than XQD in write speed which is what matters the most. However I would still get it because one might need to upgrade to Z series Nikon mirrorless in the future which can take full advantage of the speed offered.

> 3 dayI love this card! I was in an intense photoshoot day where I should many thousand images (Tet 2021!). This card allows the full speed of the Canon EOS R5. The buffering capacity of the R5 isnt that big (youll notice if you use SD cards which quickly fill the buffer). However, the CFExpress Type B cards are so fast that the images write down so fast that you will never run out of buffer no matter how long you hold the shutter button. If you are copying images off the CFExpress card to your computers SSD, itll only take a couple minutes to dump all 128 GB of images and videos. And then that card is ready to go back in action! At first I thought I would have 1, maybe 2 CFExpress cards and then a bunch of fast SD cards. However, the CFExpress is so fast that it is a joy to keep shooting. if you are constantly running around having to cover a major event, the Sony card will be an amazing partner. Now, I gave the card a 3/5 score in value. And thats because on my Xbox Series X, it has a Seagate expansion card that is only slightly bigger but its faster and much cheaper (1 TB is $220). I know. Different product category. However, the underlying technology is still the same (solid state drive).
