SONY Cfexpress Tough Memory Card

> 3 dayWith my Nikon D850 I made sure and up-dated the Firmware to version 1.20 and the CFexpress works really good. I set the camera to continues shutter release & held it down for a minute. NO lag time in writing the large raw files to the disk. Im Planning to visit Cape Disappointment in November and this cad will keep up with the fast shooting required to catch the breaking waves. It works so well I bought 2 of them.

> 3 dayCaveat Emptor! A Compact Flash Express reader must be used with the Compact Flash Express Cards. For example: The Sony MRW-G1 CFexpress Type B/XQD Memory Card Reader will work - the Sony MRWE90 will not. It is for XQD only. I purchased a MRWE_G1 - Installed on Windows 8.1 Pro with no problem or drivers. The images load on the computer with blinding speed when using the file system or using Nikon Transfer 2.

> 3 dayMaybe this is equally applicable to all brands, but the card gets very warm.

Greater than one weekThe cards plug in and work. Adobe Bridge doesnt work with cf express cards at this time. They work fine with lightroom. Ive spent hours on the phone with adobe support and they are aware of the problem.
