SONY WH1000XM3 Bluetooth Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, Black WH-1000XM3/B (Renewed)

So I like these headphones with some caveats. The sound quality is nice. The noise cancellation eliminates 80% of the ambient noise. I like the gesture controls as well. Since these are renewed, however, I found that the previous owner had programmed the NC button to link up with the Google Assistant which doesnt work for me. So I had to call Sony support and do a factory reset to fix the issue. The other thing I recommend is to go into the app and turn off Adaptive Sound Control. If you dont youll keep hearing chimes throughout your listening experience. Also I get a little over 20 hours from a single charge which is less than the 34 a review said i would get. My biggest concern is that when i make a call the people Im talking to say the quality is muddled which doesnt work for me in a business environment so Im probably going to upgrade to the Bose 700. If you dont make a lot of calls then youd be happy with these.

Seems and appears to be what is/was advertised but the pair I received is set in an Asian language with no way or option to change the default language.

No difference to me between the factory second and a new pair. Great sound and noise cancellation. Annoying that if you connect to google assistant you can no longer use ambient sound mode but still a great product. Battery life is incredible. The 15-minute charge for 5 hours is no lie.

I recently went on an overseas with 3 connecting flights, combined, the flights took over 24 hours - this headset I believe saved my sanity. It is amazing, and has blocked out much of the ambience noise even in the flight cabin (general chatter, kids crying and whatnot) on top of the engine noise, of course. There really isnt much that I can nitpick - but if I have to pick one, I would have to say it isnt as comfortable when you are trying to sleep with it on... when I fell asleep a few times and turned my head, the cup size/protrusion made it a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the product is amazing and I highly recommend it.

EQ resets to neutral if phone disconnected at all. Must relaunch app EVERY time to redo it. Also does not auto detect when it should disconnect from computer. Had to pull out computer after I’d already shut laptop, and manually disconnect before it could connect to my phone.

The sound is second to none.

These are rock stars. I owned a pair for 18 months before this purchase until a pit bull decided to use them as a chew toy. Soundwise they are wonderful but they do have a bit of a pronounced low mid range. If your ears arent refined, these will likely be the best sounding headphones youve heard. The battery life is so long that it doesnt occur to me to charge them because its so long between charges. Of course when they eventually die I have to lol. Oh, the noise canceling. The best, bar none unless there have been some new developments elsewhere. These are almost like being in a sound isolation booth. There is also the ability to fine tune them to be even more efficient at blocking your particular surroundings. I cant recommend these enough. The one bad thing. There is this really dumb touch control system on one headphone which requires super powers to work properly so I just dont use it but every once in a while it can be accidentally pressed and a song will get skipped which is really annoying. Other than that, love em.
